Dance and Shoes

Grace's Dance recital was last Saturday!!!

She did wonderful and she looked adorable!!! 

I had been in St. George with a few friends, (we got no pictures, next time we need to take a few!) So i rushed home to get Grace looking like a fairy. 

The night before her dance recital, Kyle and I made her couture (haha) dance outfit. Her teacher wanted them all in bright colors so i decided instead of going out and buying a whole new outfit i would Ritz die her tights and leotard. 

So with her new tutu and her purple tights and leotard she turned out to be a pretty cute little fairy!

As you can see she was very excited!

I was to far away and it was to dark to get any good pictures of her dancing, 

But the best part was... 

They must have told the girls to stay on the blue X's cause Grace kept looking down making sure she was on her X!!!

They are all waiting for their flowers that Mrs. Amanda gave them.

Amanda has done a really great job, believe it or not, Grace is a pretty good little dancer now!!

We love her and are going to miss her, hopefully we get a play date or two this summer so we wont miss her too much!!

She was really impressed with her flower so we had to come home and find a vase for it!!!

She really is so much fun to watch dance, even though it kinda makes me feel old, I have a 4 year old, where does time go!! 

We were happy that G&G Leavitt, I guess both G&G Leavitt's (Ron, Joyce, Penn, Nancy) and  Aunt Laura could come! We know if the rest of you could have been they you would have!!!

The twins dont like to wear shoes, so everyday i try and put them on just so maybe they get use to them!!

Tantrum!!!!!!!

This is Alaynna reaction.....

She just kinda sits there and wont walk, (oh ya btw she walks more than she crawls now). 

But today Alaynna brought her shoes to me, stuck her foot in my face, so i put the shoes on and she walked everywhere with them!!

Addison kept looking at her and clapping, it was cute. 

Addison also brought her shoes to me tonight, but then when i tried to get her foot, she ran the other way!!

I think now that she has seen Alaynna done it, it wont be long before she lets me put them on her too!!

tutu's

Not a whole lot has been going on at this house, that is mostly because of Kyle and I's little vacation!!!

But before i write about that..... 

The sunset was so pretty last Saturday, I had to get a few pictures if it, to see it click HERE. 

While i was out taking pictures of the sun i had to get a few of the girls!! 

The twins are now 13 months old and not a whole lot has changed since 12 months, they still have the same number of teeth, although they are teething right now, not fun!!! 

Addsion is running everywhere and Alaynna is started walking, but would rather crawl!!

And, 

They are into everything!!!

Really, if there is something to get into, these two find it!!! 

They love to get things out of boxes and then put it back into the box!

Alaynna was handing the "plastics" to Addison and Addison would put them in random spots around the yard.

I made Grace a new tutu for her dance recital on Saturday!! 

It turned out SO cute, she loves it and thinks she should wear it all the time!!! 

For sure i will be making a few more of these, with 3 girls i dont think you can ever have to many tutu's!!

She has really loved being in dance and she has learned alot!

Yesterday she was talking on "her phone" to Mrs. Amanda and she was telling her all kinds of things, then she hung up and told me, "I sure do love Mrs. Amanda!!" 

We are sad that dance is over for the summer, but when it starts up again next year we will be waiting!!! 

We had so much fun on our little getaway, we rode into Vegas on Sunday and didnt come home till Tuesday!!! 

We stayed at the Monte Carlo in a really nice room, we ate lots of good food, and we walked our butts off!!! 

Both of our legs and feet hurt but it was fun to just be with each other!! 

We learned that a beach vacation is what we really want, some where that all there is to do is just lay around, swim, and get tan!! 

Monday was cloudy and windy so the pool wasnt that much fun, so we didnt stay down there too long and kyles legs really could have used the sun, oh well!!!!

 

Have you ever noticed that when you dont have kids to take pictures of, you just dont take pictures?!?! At least thats how it is with me, these are the only pictures we took and i had the camera with us the while time!!!

My favorite thing we did was go to a piano bar!! 

We were walking around the New York, New York looking for this fish and chips place to eat when we heard these guys singing and playing the pianos. So after we got our food i made Kyle go sit outside and listen to them with me!! After Kyle started singing a few songs to me, (all the old country ones), I made him go sit in there with me! So we listen to the pianos and sang along!!! 

It really sounds nerdy, when i heard about them i thought it was nerdy, but it was alot of fun! 

I am going to make Kyle take me back for my birthday!!! 

Anyways we had alot of fun and hopefully will get to go on another little vacation before to long!!!

Addison has learned how to throw fits while standing, this is in the middle of throwing one in this picture...

She throws her arms back and stomps around crying, it is really funny!!! 

Alaynna started to walk last night!!

We were getting the girls in PJ's so we could go for a ride and neither me or Kyle were watching but she walked right over to us, then wouldnt stop walking!!! 

She still crawls more than she walks, but thats just cause she wants to!!

These 3 kids of mine have been giving me a hard time lately, for real i need a break!!! Thank goodness Kyle is taking me on a little vacation this weekend, kid free!!!

I will miss the girls, but it is time for me to sleep in, take a nap, not clean the house, no changing dirty diapers, and eat without getting up a million times to take care of somebody!!

I got the girls taking a good 2nd nap again, they just go to bed a 1/2 hour later, i can handle that, i couldnt handle not having a 2nd nap!!!! 

Oh Grace, she is so very bull headed!!!! 

She will be going to test for preschool here in a few weeks and i have been trying to work with her numbers and ABC's, and if it isnt her idea she will not do it!!! 

I could never ever be a teacher, i am not near patience enough, is there any advise out there on how to not want to cry and throw the book while trying to teach your 3 almost 4 year old "stuff"??? 

She actually does really well when you dont ask her and she doesnt know you are listening!!! 

Help me out here all of you with kids about this age, how did you help teach them!!!

Mother's Day

For mothers day this year we had my mom come over for brunch!!! 

Jakell and I made some waffles with strawberry's, they were delicious!!

We also went down to Nancy's to have dinner and to talk to Vance, he will be home in like a month, we are all really excited to get him home!!!! 

I got myself a wonderful new bed spread!!

(for some reason I cant find the picture, so that is to come...)

Nancy found me a great deal on one and I couldn't pass it up, so i told Kyle that could just be my mothers day present! He said that would be good cause he had no idea what to get for me!! 

And I was so so happy with it!!

Kyle was great on mothers day, the night before i told him i had to go get flowers for our moms, he asked me to pick some up for myself and we just laughed!!

Then he left.....

After a minute he came walking in with this...

  I was so surprised!! I had told him months ago that i really wanted this picture, he remembered and now it is hanging in the dining room!!!
He also let me take a nap and cleaned the house and kids up for me!!!
Grace was really cute too, she woke up happy and that always makes for a good day!!

I am so thankful to have Kyle and the girls in my life, i really wouldnt know what my life would be like without them!!!

clothes, laughing, talking, and biting

Not alot has been happening at our home, thats why i have not posted anything for awhile!!

The biggest and probably most wonderful news is, THE FENCE IS DONE!!!!! 

Well, there is a little more that needs done but we got the permit signed off so that made Kyle happy!!

We have been enjoying the warm weather and being outside as much as we can stand it!! 

Grace wakes up and heads out and it is pretty hard trying to get her back in!! 

She has also took up changing her clothes 500 times a day! She always comes out with the craziest looking things on, like scarfs wrapped around her for a shirt!!!! 

This is one of her tamer outfits, but the boots are pretty much a every outfit shoe, she loves them!!

Addison is a cheese ball, she is always making these crazy faces!! She has started to open her mouth as big as she can for like 10 seconds, then laughs!!!! 

She loves to laugh and has a fake laugh that she does at everything!!!

Alaynna is a talker, this little girl will look at you and talk, talk, talk, just like you understand everything!!! 

I think that when she does start to talk for real she is going to talk more than Grace!

God help us, i will for sure be getting some ear plugs!!!

The twins are trying to give up their afternoon nap, and i will not let them, they cry for awhile but they, (and I), need nap time!!! Any advise on how to keep them with 2 naps or is it at this age they start to go to just one????

Also, they bite....

I dont know how Alaynna learned to bite, but she does! 

When she wants something she crawls over takes it and then she bites if you try to get it back. It was only her that had this "problem" but it didnt take long for Addison to catch on and start biting! 

Now when i am not picking up after someone, changing a dirty diaper, getting juice, or one of the other million "mom duties" I have, I am referring my biting twins!!!
