 Kyle went on a turkey hunt up by Cedar!

All his brothers and his dad went, it sounded like they had alot of fun!

Kyle and all his brothers and dad decided to go to Fish Lake and do some ice fishing! 

There was a big contest up there catching perch, but the Leavitt men werent all that successful. 

It sounded like they had alot of fun, even if the ice was melting something terrible!!

Kyles Sheep Hunt

Kyle had a ewe sheep hunt, the girls were so excited to go with him on this one!

We went out after Grace got home just to look.
As soon as we got out there there was a bunch of sheep so Kyle decided to see if he could get to them. The girls and I stayed back in the 4-runner and watched!

The girls had so much fun and I am pretty sure Kyle has passed the hunting gene on to them. They sat there and watched him gut it, asked questions, touched. They are huge tomboys, who love pink, glitter and dress up!

Kyle turns 30!

Kyle turned the big 30 this year!!
We kept it pretty low key, he got a welder this year and I made his favorite cookies since he doesn't like cake!

I've loved this man since our first date.
He is a better dad than I could have ever imagined, the girls love it when he gets home for the night and love the weekends where he can play with them for 3 whole days.
He takes such great care of me, you can see the worry in his eyes when he knows I am not feeling good and he does whatever he can to make me feel better.
He is such a hard worker and great at everything he does.
and lets face it, he's pretty good looking!
I couldn't have ever asked for someone more perfect for me!

Hot, Hot, Hot!

Kyle got his birthday present early this year. I try and surprise him and it doesn't work out and well this year, I was to tired!
He picked it out himself and he couldnt have been happier so it worked out for both of us!
He got himself shocks for his 4 runner, pretty lame gift if you ask me, but whatever!

A few weekends ago it hit 90* and when it is that hot the girls think they need to be in swimming suits. They ran threw the sprinkler for a minute but then Grace decided it was still to cold! The twins didnt mind the coldness and played in the water for awhile!

We decided to see if the fish were biting and rode up to the reservoir, but there werent and teenagers with dogs came and crowded us out!

So we went to the other side and Alaynna decided to go for a little swim, as you can see she loved it!

I was kinda scared for them to get in the nasty place but Kyle told me I was a germ-a-fob, and I am so I let them be little kids and swim!

Grace inst as brave as the little girls, but she still had fun!

 Kyle has been working really hard on his truck so we can take it up to Marysvale with us this summer, isnt a beauty?!?!

SICKNESS

I have been sick for the last little while so Kyle stayed home to help me with the girls today, these are a few of the things I have heard...

"The girls want to watch strawberry shortcake on the wii how do you turn it on?"
"The Internet is not working, what box is the wireless one?" (We go over this one at least once a week)

"I think I will make pancakes for lunch, the girls will eat those right?"
"So is pancake mix suppose to be the consistency of cement?"
"Do you think i need to turn the heat down, this one is almost black but still doughy inside?"

After Kyle made scrambled eggs for dinner, Grace wanted more and I had got up to get a drink of water, Grace say, "Hey your up why don't you just make me some more eggs? Please?!"

And the very best thing, "Holy crap didn't I just clean this house up, it is already a mess again?!"

Yes Kyle, welcome to my life!!!!
I am lucky that he felt bad enough for me to stay home from work and let me lay in bed all day, I knew I loved him for a reason!!!

Now back to bed with some crackers!

Kyles Birthday

Kyle turned 27 this year, he is getting up there, soon we will be throwing him a over the hill party.
He is pretty hard to buy for, so this year i just let him pick out what he wanted. Of course he wanted something to do with hunting, so we picked him out a target! 

Not only did Kyle get a nice present, the girls played in the box for a day or two!

For Kyles birthday growing  up he always had hamburgers, french fries, and milkshakes!
The past few years we have changed it up and had all kinds of new things.
This year Kyle decided we should have a fiesta! I made us some carne asada, salsa, pico de gallo, key lime pie, and some tres leches cake! It was really good, especially the key lime pie if i dont say so myself!
We had alot of fun and were happy that family could come and spend a few hours with us!

First day of School

The biggest thing to happen around this house is 

Grace is a big school girl!!! 

Monday was her first day of preschool with Mrs. Amy. 

This last week has been a rough one, but a good one!!

After a long wait, it was finally the first day of school, Grace was so excited, she for real was bouncing off the walls. After we got her all ready, got a lunch packed, and her backpack on, we were ready to go!

Since she is a "peer leader" she isn't technically a student so we have to take her to and from school, but thats ok!

So we loaded everyone up and went on our way, while going down the valley she said her tummy hurt.

I asked her if she was nervous, 

she said no but she was scared that they wouldnt like her and would be mean to her.

That pretty much broke my heart, but i didnt cry, i just told her that of course they would like her and they wouldnt be mean as long as she was nice to them!

So we got there and she said "I am going to miss you mom, are you going to miss me?"

Then said "hold my hand."

I pretty much just wanted to pick her up throw her in the truck and tell kyle we were homeschooling, but i didnt i just kept smiling and walking her to the playground!! She did let my hand go and went and played, i waved to her and walked as fast as i could to the truck to have my breakdown in peace.

To bad Kyle was there making fun of me!

When we went to pick her up, she was excited!

I thought "ok good, she loves it"

Then Tuesday morning came and we were getting ready to go and she started to cry and said "i wish i was a baby, then i could just stay home with you and the sisters."

So i called Jerrica and cried for awhile then loaded her up and went on our way. 

I asked if she was excited and she said yes, she would just miss me!!!

When i went to get her she was a little more talkative and told me that a boy that she thinks name is Kevin made her a castle out of blocks!!! 

I asked if that was her boyfriend and she just said, "mom, i am to little to have a boyfriend," then laughed!

So all was well, till Wednesday!!!!

We woke up, she cried all morning, but said she was excited, so i loaded her up after having to use the restroom 8 times!!! 

I made Nancy take her again when we got to school, then got a note from Mrs. Amy saying that she had asked to go to the restroom 5 times, i thought she must have another UTI, but after a trip to the doctor, 

she didnt!!! 

So as of 3 nights with no sleep cause i have been worrying that i am making my child go to school when she just might be to young, 

i got over it today!!!! 

We got up had a few talks and found out she didnt really like the story that was being read so she asked to go to the restroom!!! 

I did get another note from the teacher, only one restroom break, and she does great and she would have never known that she was scared or nervous cause she acts good and dances and sings and is a perfectly normal 4 year old!!! 

I feel better tonight, not so much like a horrible failure of a mother!! 

I love that in the car ride to school Grace tells me and both the sisters that she is going to miss us, and now i am glad to know that even if i am not right next to her she can still function, i guess that means i am doing a mothering job!!!!

But to have this week behind us makes me so happy, cause it was hell and i really thought a nervous breakdown was not to far off!! 

So all is well with school now, 

Grace loves it, 

Today she acted alot better, 

But next week we will start all over and see how that goes!!!

 While Grace was at school i took a few pictures of Addison and Alaynna!!

They are pretty much monsters, they are into everything, and they can tear a room to pieces in about 5 seconds!! 

Kyle went hunting this last weekend and brought the 4-wheeler home with him!!!! 

These 3 girls couldnt wait to go on a ride with him, so he loaded them all up and they went on a little ride!!

They are all 3 little tom boy daddy's girls!!!!

So thats was August, it flew by!!! 

I feel like i didnt even enjoy it cause i cant remember any of.

Oh well Septembers here and it will start to cool down and maybe then i will have a life outside of 

my home and car!!!

This is going to be kinda long...

It seems like so much has happened since my last post, but it really hasn't!! I have just been crazy busy doing last minute things for our Gibbs family reunion!! 

SO here the catch up goes.....

Last Friday we went to Cody's wedding and Jakell came over to babysit for me! She had made herself some lasagna and brought it over to share with the kids!! 

She called to tell me that Alaynna really liked it and had pretty much bathed in it, she took a few pictures of the kids having dinner, notice that Alaynna really is COVERED in it!!!!

 

 

 

 

For Fathers Day, we had my dad over for dinner on Saturday night!

I made some good chicken, some yummy cream cheese corn and baked potatoes!! I always like it when he comes over for dinner, cause no matter if it tastes terrible he will always eat it and say how good it is!!!

It was a nice night, he had to go back up to Idaho so he could stay for long, but I was happy he drove home so we could see him on fathers day!!! 

Sunday morning was a rush of trying to get out the door in time for church.

We don't go all to often, mostly because we don't want to (for our own reasons), we have 3 kids, we don't want to go anywhere, that's one reason! 

I think some people forget that it isn't if you go to church on Sunday, it is how you live the other 6 days of the week. I have gotten ALOT of crap since we have been married about how we don't go to church and how i am not baptized Mormon, but i think that if you look at my life and see that i am a good person, a great mom and a great wife, it shouldn't matter what i do on Sundays.

But I will save my soap box speech for another day and get back to fathers day, cause it was a good day!!!! 

I had been stressed about what i was going to wear to church, since I had the twins nothing fits me!! Kyle had told me to stop complaining and just worry about it Sunday morning, but i was smart and picked something out that fit me the night before!! 

So Kyle gets into his "church wranglers" and comes in and says that i must have shrunk his pants cause they were to tight to wear!!! 

This is when i about peed in my pants from laughing so hard!!! 

I told him that pants don't shrink from sitting in the closet, he must have gained a few pounds!!! 

He says that it is new muscles from climbing poles, but i know different!!

Church was nice, Vance did great speaking, and the kids were pretty good!!

After Church we went to Penn and Nancy's for a breakfast for Vance! It was nice to see all the family and catch up!! 

We got to go home to take a much needed nap and clean up a few things before we loaded up the water balloon sling shots and went back down to Penn and Nancy's!! I didn't get any pictures, but Laura got a few good ones!!! 

They were alot of fun, we had to try them out before we took them up to the reunion! 

Fathers day was really nice, we love dads!!!! 

Grace went to a Primary activity with Lucy and made Kyle a tie, she was kinda mad he didn't wear it to church but after i told her we would take a picture of him with it she was ok!!! 

We also got Kyle a range finder, I was excited cause i knew he would love it so i gave it to him early!!! 

 The twins have a new game they play, 

as soon as i open the door to my bedroom, they run as fast as they can to my bathroom to get into the cupboards!

They usually take turns one in the cupboard, one opens it up and says boo!

Alaynna was in first, now she is getting out so Addison can get in!!

Sometimes Alaynna climbs in with Addison and all you can hear is them laughing!!!

They have started to play really cute with each other, like friends not just sisters!!

But they still have some pretty good fights!!!

Of course Grace is never to far away from the twins, so she usually gets in on the fun!!

This post is kinda all over the place, but thats how this last week has been!! Hopefully after this week i can feel like my head is on normal and maybe even get to relax a little!!!
