The twins!

The girls are getting close to going to school and I thought I was a little behind on their immunizations, (luckily I was caught up!) So I took them to the doctor! Usually I make Kyle experience these things with me but on a whim I just decided that I would do it by myself!
I had been talking it up about how easy shots were, they really dont hurt that bad, we get to have ice cream, its like a date, we are going to shop all day!
I had them not as scared, then the morning we were leaving Grace decided to give her 2 cents and told them it hurt so bad they are going to cry and wont be able to move their arms, then laughed. I just about beat her, thank God she went to school!!

So after shopping all day and eating Tacos from Del Taco, they were ready!
Addison went first and she did great, only a little cry.
Alaynna on the other hand scrame bloody murder, sobbed hysterically, and flailed her body everywhere.
She is a joy.
After it was all done they got to pick a few toys out and get a sucker.
I got my blood drawn also and the blood drawer didnt believe I have terrible veins and pass out, so the girls got to witness me pass out and be wheeled out to the door.
It was an eventful day!

Since they did so good we went to cold stone and they got ice cream with gummy bears and sprinkles!
Then went to pizza hut where they watch sponge bob and didnt eat hardly anything!

These two little girls are into everything and drive me bat shit crazy most days, but then they do funny things like get into my lipstick! I went to make my bed and there was a face print of lipstick on my sheets! They arent going to school this year, so hopefully we make it through the year!!!

Grace goes hunting!

We really havent been home all summer, and when we are home we are either cleaning up from being gone or packing up to go again!

This week was no different, Kyle has a cow elk tag and took grace up for a night! She was so excited to go hunting with him! They left Thursday about noon and got home late Friday night!
Since Grace wasnt here to entertain the twins, they had to figure out how to entertain themselves. So they pushed their beds together and asked to watch a movie on my computer! They wont let me move their bed back either! 

Grace said she had alot of fun.
She shot at some rabbits, climbed trees, seen a cool nest up one of the trees, seen lots of elk and deer tracks, seen a cool cave, and had alot of fun being with dad. She was bummed that they didnt kill one, she thinks she needs a real dead animal on her wall. Kyle really has done a great job at turning my little girly girl into a huge tomboy! 

scary stories

We didnt do a lot for the next few day, in fact we didnt do anything till Thursday! We woke up and went down to Richfield for some food and to go see Candace at the pet store, she wasnt there, but we still had fun and picked out a cat we wanted to bring home with us!

I was sick for most of the week, thats why we didnt do anything. So when Kyle got there Thursday i couldnt have been happier to see him! 

We had to stay up till dark so we could look for worms for fish lake the next day and so to keep us entertained the girls told us "scary stories".
Addison was the only one that really told a story, "the ittsy bittsy spider went RRAAAAARRRR!!!!! then he went up the spider web!" It was a good one.
Alaynna  just sang for us.
Grace just sat there so i could take her picture!!
We were so happy to have Kyle there with us!

Randomness from the Leavitt home

No one in this house listens to me. I blame it on me not feeling well since my gallbladder came out. I could scream and yell or be so nice but it is like the girls tune me out. It is becoming super frustrating.
Grace has been doing things that she knows she shouldnt be doing and so today "mean mom" came back and they have all been in time out alot today. 

Hopefully they start listening to me again, or i might go crazy-(er)!

The other night at dinner Addison goes running away to her room, I didnt think much about it. Then all the sudden she comes running back down to the kitchen and is naked as a jay bird singing, "I'm naked and I know it".
Have you ever seen the M&M commercial where the red M&M takes his shell off cause the brown M&M looks naked, ya thats where it came from!

I have been learning alot from this photography class I am taking, but I need models for upcoming pictures assignments I have to take. My children are not the best models for me for some reason. Every time I see some great light Grace says it hurt her eyes and I get that look from her. And the twins have to be bribed in candy to hold still. So any one out there who wants to be my model let me know!

We got some life jackets awhile back, I can honestly say one of the best investments ever. When we go fishing they just swim around out there, when we go to my moms to swim they just swim like fish, It takes so much worry and stress off me that I just really LOVE them.

 

Grace, the photographer/videographer

These are some pictures through Graces eyes....

Every time I get my camera out she is by my side and now wants a camera like mine so she can move things.
Shes nuts! 

I told Kyle, when she is a famous photographer, we can look back and say it all happened on her 6th birthday.

This is a weed in the grass, when she is showing me all her pictures, she says " And this is Dads first flower in his grass!" Kyle was sad his grass has a weed in it and went and dug it up ASAP.

We are not at all sick of having a camera in our faces all the time, now I know how my kids feel!! 

The day after her birthday and new batteries and a fresh memory card, I got into the shower. While having a shampooed head and enjoying my quiet time, Grace comes busting in with the video on asking how to shut it off.
I didnt want to beat her at all.
We had a nice little talk about how when I am naked in the shower, or have a towel on she does not come around with the camera!! 

She didnt know that the video had sound till I told her. So as she is walking away from me she gave the camera a tour of the house, outside, all the vehicles and lots of shots of herself!
 

Her birthday was on Sunday, today is Wednesday, we have went through 3 sets of batterys, and i had to change the size of her pictures so now her memory card holds 1000 pictures, we are about 600 in!! 

This picture of dog food is even funnier when you watch the video i found! The camera is a good babysitter!!! 

fishing, kinda

After hair cuts and running around, the girls were tired. So we went for a ride to see if anyone would fall asleep and make our lives easier.

Our "go to" ride in Marysvale is up the canyon to throw rocks in the creek. 

This time we decided to fish alittle while we were there.

The only girl that would go to sleep, like they were suppose to, was Alaynna.

Addison was really loving this worm that she was suppose to be fishing with, gross......

But like the good mom I am, I just took pictures of her and grace kissing the worms.

While they were kissing worms I changed the white balance in my camera, holy hanna what a different, I love this look, so I made Addison kiss her worm again so I could get a picture with better light.

I probably deserve a mother or the year award for it, but dont worry she paid me back this week by getting the pukes then giving them to me!

Luckily Grace stopped kissing the dirty worm and just waited to have it put on her fishing pole!

I think when we go fishing Kyle spend the majority of the time getting poles ready or unstuck!

Addison was really on one while we were up there, she thought she was being really funny and cute!

Good thing I thought so to! 

Alaynna was still sleeping through all of our fun times with the worms.

Kyle and the other 2 tried to fish, but the water was going way to fast.

Addison didnt want to give up her worm so she didnt get to fish.

She wasnt sad about it, she was having to much fun to care.

Alaynna woke up toward the end of our little "ride" and oh boy she should have stayed asleep.

For realz her hair looks like a little wig on her, it is so voluminous.

Now for alittle public service announcement..............
When going to my beautiful hometown, dont leave your trash.

Cause when you do Kyle makes us all clean it up!!

Since Alaynna was not being to nice, we just watched the others clean all the trash up.

 They picked up about a half a trash bag full.

Everywhere we go Kyle gets the trash bag out and picks up other people trash. I dont help much, the only way i would pick it up is if Kyle got me a trash picker upper thing.

Good thing the girls do pretty much whatever Kyle tells them to do, that way he has some helpers!

Alaynna never did get happier, all day,( all week she whined and cried, it made for a long week of wanting to duck tape her mouth shut)!!

Dont worried I didnt do it, I just thought about it, alot.

I love to go up the Canyon, it really is one of my most favorite places to go, I use to love it more when you never heard of bears being up there. For some reason now when we are up there I am always on the look out for big huge man eating bears and am always making a game plan!

No worries though, If there was a bear, our mean dog would go get them!
