brrrrrrr, its cold outside!

This horrible weather has made me feel really unproductive and just want to stay in bed all day under the covers! I use to really want to move "home" to Utah, to Marysvale, but after these past few days I truly know i wouldn't last there, I have about died this week!!!

With that said my children have also had cabin fever and have been driving me nutty!!!
 The twins have for sure hit the terrible 2's, they are biting, hitting, always wanting to be independent, but not quite old enough to be independent, and into everything!  

Alaynna woke me up in the middle of the night crying, it was the hurt cry so i got up and ran down and got her, but i couldnt figure out why she was crying, so i laid her back down. In the morning when i went to get them out of bed I seen her eye was black and blue!!!!! She tried to tell me what happened, but all i got was her eye hurt!
Poor girl, it is finally looking better!

I had to put pictures of how beautiful our bathroom is looking, I have a floor, a toilet, and a vanity!!!
Now i just need a sink and the finishing touches!

We still have alot to do, but we have the big things out of the way!!

We also repainted the laundry room, the first color was to fleshy, like alot of pink in it and so we went for a real dark brown and i love it. I cant wait till all of it is done and we can move on to our next project!

Grace was so happy that she has a toilet in her bathroom, she wanted a pink one but she was ok with the white one!!

This was before it turned into the north pole here.

I think that is why it seems so cold, we were out in our summer dresses and then the next day we were in layers and had the heat cranked up and didnt leave the house!

Good thing this weekend will be back up to 70, maybe we can all unthaw by then!

Our broccoli and cauliflower got replaced with onions. We got a late start on it and since neither kyle or i are all that patient we decided instead of just waiting it out we would just rip it up and start fresh!
Our peas are looking awesome and hopefully still are alive!

I made real mashed potatoes for dinner and Alaynna had about 5 helping, I thought she had enough!
I walked out of the room and she pushed her chair over, pulled the bowl to her and ate all that was left!

Tonight i thought i would make some homemade taquitos, they didnt take long, but they required some work.
So while i was busy stuffing, rolling, and baking, my kids were busy spilling my pepsi, Grace cut her hair, but only a little cause she wanted to see what it wold look like short, (ahhhhhhhh), and choking on cough drops that the twins found. All the while destroying my clean home!!!

Then after all my hard work none of the girls would eat them, but me and Kyle enjoyed them.

Because i didnt want them starving, I threw some poptarts on the table!! And they all scrame, "treats, treats!!!!"
I told Kyle, "this is why i shouldnt waist my time with cooking or cleaning, they would be happy with cereal and poptarts for breakfast, lunch and dinner!"

This week has been a hard one, I think it has just been trying to get back into the groove of things again, schedules, school, life without holidays! 
We also only have one bathroom that is usable right now, and i am not complaining, because it is going to be beautiful when it is done!

Right now all we have done is tore everything out, (except the tub), we did get it painted yellow, and we put a new light up, last but not least put down the cement board so someday soon we can tile it!
This weekend we hope to repaint to bathtub/shower and get the cement board down in the laundry room!

I really cant wait to have this bathroom done and pretty again! Now i just have to find some cute stuff to decorate with and i will be good for awhile!

There hasn't been alot going on here at the Leavitt home, just kids making messes and me going behind them cleaning them up!

The gate came down that makes it so my children cant get into the drawers and cupboards that hold all my junk, so they have had alot of fun finding new treasures!
They really enjoy building houses out of the toilet paper and paper towels, also they have broke a few vases, and i have no stamps or envelopes left!!

These two get into alot of trouble together, good thing they are cute or i might have to beat them somedays!!

Grace has enjoyed going back to school and i have enjoyed the almost 2 hour break i get!

Not alot has been happening at our home, thats why i have not posted anything for awhile!!

The biggest and probably most wonderful news is, THE FENCE IS DONE!!!!! 

Well, there is a little more that needs done but we got the permit signed off so that made Kyle happy!!

We have been enjoying the warm weather and being outside as much as we can stand it!! 

Grace wakes up and heads out and it is pretty hard trying to get her back in!! 

She has also took up changing her clothes 500 times a day! She always comes out with the craziest looking things on, like scarfs wrapped around her for a shirt!!!! 

This is one of her tamer outfits, but the boots are pretty much a every outfit shoe, she loves them!!

Addison is a cheese ball, she is always making these crazy faces!! She has started to open her mouth as big as she can for like 10 seconds, then laughs!!!! 

She loves to laugh and has a fake laugh that she does at everything!!!

Alaynna is a talker, this little girl will look at you and talk, talk, talk, just like you understand everything!!! 

I think that when she does start to talk for real she is going to talk more than Grace!

God help us, i will for sure be getting some ear plugs!!!

The twins are trying to give up their afternoon nap, and i will not let them, they cry for awhile but they, (and I), need nap time!!! Any advise on how to keep them with 2 naps or is it at this age they start to go to just one????

Also, they bite....

I dont know how Alaynna learned to bite, but she does! 

When she wants something she crawls over takes it and then she bites if you try to get it back. It was only her that had this "problem" but it didnt take long for Addison to catch on and start biting! 

Now when i am not picking up after someone, changing a dirty diaper, getting juice, or one of the other million "mom duties" I have, I am referring my biting twins!!!

The Easter bunny called and asked me to keep a few things for him, i hid them in my closet, under a blanket, behind my mirror!!! 

Leave it to the little girls to find them.... Thanks goodness Grace with with dad, these two are ALWAYS into something!!! 

Next time someone asks me where i live, i can say in the home with the white picket fence!!

Kyle has done such a great job at making our outside beautiful and the fence is almost done! After 2 years the yard is looking like a nice yard that someone (kyle) has work really hard on!!!

We went to a reception so i got the girls in the cute new outfits Grandma Merri brought over, i thought they looked so cute so i wanted to get a picture of them..... this was the best i got!!!!

Before we got out the door, Grace got a hold of Alaynna and the comb and helped me out with her hair. I could NOT get it to go down, so she had a Mohawk!! 

It was Kyles birthday on the 28th, we had dinner with all the family and it was nice!! 

Kyle has been wanting a camera that he could take to work and out in the hills and not have to worry about it, so me and the girls got him the camera that is shockproof, waterproof, and unbreakable, at least we hope so!!

I made Jakell keep it over at her house and when she brought it over Kyle turned into a little boy!! We had a deal that we werent getting anything for his birthday so he was really surprised. I was going to make him wait till everyone got to the house but he made me let him open it earlier!! 

 After the girls helped Kyle open his present, Grace made a sled with the box! 

Alaynna like it, Addison did not!

Kyle had a great birthday and was really happy everyone came over for dinner!! 

In other news, my kids are sick,

AGAIN. 

I hate it when they are sick, i get NO sleep. 

I should be sleeping, NOW, but i am not cause i have to much to do! 

Like make a cake, but instead i am blogging!

other stuff that happened this week

Second, Grace and Alaynna still have colds and Addison is getting teeth, so none of us sleep at this house, i take that back, Kyle sleeps threw everything, so none of us girls sleep!!!

Saturday morning Alaynna decided to get up and scream at 5 AM, she woke Grace and Addison up so we were all so tired! 

While the twins were in taking a nap Grace curled up on the grass outside and took a nap herself!!!

She kept telling us to be quiet cause we were waking her up, then we could hear her snoring away! 

Kyle and I built this wall this weekend, 

really I took the bricks to him and he built it, but i did help with this project!

It is looking so good out there and i cant wait to get it done so that i can get my garden in and the girls can have their play area!!!

I have been going a little bit crazy cause with the twins it is REALLY hard to do much of anything,

and Grace, Alaynna and I all have bad colds!

But today i said goodbye to schedules, clean clothes, and my bad attitude!! 

So while we were all outside working around the yard and playing Grace and i took a time out so we could have a photo shoot!! Really i got my camera to try and take a picture of how many bees we have in our yard, i think they have a hive someone close cause we seriously have a million, but Grace thought it was for her!!

She is so hard to get a good picture of but today she was fun, here are a few i got......

This is Graces garden!!!!
We walked up to home hardware yesterday and she bought some carrot seeds, i guess she planted them in her sand pile cause she waters it way more than needed and says there is no more playing in it!!! Kyle said she planted them everywhere in his grass, so maybe we will have a few carrots around the yard this summer!!

After months of Kyles hard work on the fence, he had to tear it all down. 

But after getting it in the right spot it only took him a 4 day weekend to get all the posts in the ground!! It is looking so good out there and i am SO excited to have a fence all the way around our house!!

The other morning i was down in my bathroom getting ready, Grace was down there with me and then she left! 

I didnt think much of it till i realized she had been gone for awhile and i couldnt hear her! Usually that means she is onto something, but not that morning!! 

I walked down to her room to find her in bed reading a book!!! She stayed in there for awhile and read one book after the other one!

The other night when we were eating dinner, Josie just wouldnt stop barking! After awhile Kyle got up to go see what she was barking at and he told me to go the camera cause Josie tree'd a raccoon!!!
Yes, right in my front yard Josie chased a raccoon up the tree, after taking a few pictures and Grace looking at him, we got Josie inside and the little raccoon went on his way!
Grace names him Sally just like everything else Grace names!!

This weekend we spent outside cause it was nice!

Poor kyle spent the whole weekend ripping out fence that was put in the wrong spot, (we were pretty upset about it, but we are getting over it now.)! It was looking really good out there and now it just looks weird, but it will go up faster this time so i will post picture when it is done!!

Grace was being my model, every time i get the camera out she tells me to take a picture of her!!

The twins love to be outside, they just laid in there playpen and drank bottles and watched the world go by!
