the weekend

This weekend we had alot of fun! We decided that we were going to take a road trip out around St. George! The wind ruined our plans, it was blowing so hard we had to have our picnic in our car, I hate that wind. On our way home we stopped in Beaver Damn to see Kyles Grandma and Aunt! Kyles Mom, Dad and Luke were over there to so we went to dinner with them! It was fun even though the wind blew all day! I didnt get any picture that day because there was nothing to take pictures of!
Sunday night there was NO wind so we went fishing out to the lake! It was so fun, Grace ran right into the water and thought that it was so fun! Kyle would run in after her and then we would all just laugh! I caught 2 fish but i think i might have just caught the same one twice, he was tiny! Grace was a little bit freaked out by it and wouldn't touch it! Kyle got a bite but was to slow to catch him! I am definitely the fisher woman in the family, Kyle doesn't have much luck when it comes to that! here are a few pictures..

Little Grace Loved being in the water and finding rocks! She would run into the lake till it was clear up to her waist! Her and Kyle were both really wet!
This is what Kyle did for the first little bit, run in after her and get her out of the lake! As you can see they both thought that is was fun! Here is my little fish, he is tiny!!! Grace really didnt like it being that close to her! I thought this was cute, it was getting dark out so you cant really see anything but kyle and grace! I love it! This was my fishing spot, i seen fish everywhere out there and so i went to try fishing there. After i got a fish, Kyle followed me out there and scarred them all away!

Monday we worked out in our yard, it is really looking good! We are trying to do as much as we can out there before it gets to hot! From what it looked like a year ago before we did anything out there to what it looks like now is amazing, Kyle does a really great job out there!

Other than that we have been just trying to keep Grace happy, I cant decide if she has a little cold, allergies or she has teeth coming in and whatever it is shes been not to fun the last few nights!

Grace growing like a weed!

Grace is getting so big and she is so much fun and so much harder! It seems like the only things i ever say are, "you cant do that" or "please dont pull Josies hair" or "get out of the dog water"! As you can see by the picture she doesnt really listen to anything i say! She has started to want to do everything herself too! She trys to be so independent and she gets really frustrated when she cant do something! She wont let me help her eat anymore or help her brush her teeth so those two things take alot longer to do than they use to!
Other than Grace just growing up to fast nothing is going on! Hopefully this weekend we will do something fun!

The Fair!

This weekend was the fair down here and i always love going to it! Steph and Kenadi came down to spend a few days with us and they almost made me want another little baby, almost! Grace absolutely loved having them here and she always thought that she had to be touching the baby! I lost count of how may time i had to say careful and dont jump by the baby! I am so glad that they came down and i hope next year Skyler comes down with them!

I really dont remember Grace ever being small like this! She is SO big compared to little Kenadi! I definitely think that these two will be friends, Grace really loves her already!
Grace wanted to hold the baby so when i finally put her on her lap she didnt want me to take her back! Kenadi is such a good little baby, we drug her around the windy fair and everything and she barely made a peep!
For some reason Grace was down copying Josie so i got this picture! I think it is so cute, she just will get down there close to Josie and just talk away and Josie lays there and listens to her!
The highlight of the whole fair was seeing Grace ride the pony's!!! She love animals and so we of course seen all the pigs, cows, and goats and she pet most of them but I never thought that she would ride a horse! Some guy even picked her up to put her on and she didnt cry or care!
She was smiling and laughing and dancing around the whole time! It was so much fun to see her act like that! You can see in this picture she just was smiling ear to ear! When it was time to get off she cryed and kept looking at me and saying "please, please"! We are going to go back and ride them again tomorrow so kyle can see how cute she is on them , then maybe he will buy us a horse!!

My first REAL cake!

Well i finished my first REAL cake today!! One of my dads friends asked me to make this cake for his dads birthday! I actually made a cake for someone that i am not related to, it is really scary! I think it turned out really well though.
He wanted the hammer that is passed between Mesquite and Moapa for football games on it and that turned out really well. The cake, white cake with strawberries and cream cheese filling and butter cream icing turned out to be really good and kyle even liked it, he doesnt really like cake! I put it all together and did the finishing touches and it still looked really good, then i put it in the box and holy cow, it CRACKED! I got it repaired and it looks good again, but holy cow it was stressful!
I really love to make cakes it is so stress relieving even though it is stressful, i kinda get lost when i am doing it! One of my friends from high school just asked me to make her wedding cake so I better get really good fast!
Anyways i thought i would share a picture of the finished product!I didnt spell it wrong, it really is "happy birthday howd"

Camping Trip

This weekend we went camping in the desert, which is different than camping in the mountains! This is the first time we have camped close to home and i think it might be the last! I still cant really enjoy the outdoors here in the desert, compared to marysvale this place is UGLY, well compared to everywhere i have been this place is ugly!! Kyle tries to get me to see the beauty by showing me the wild flowers, but i really just think they are weeds!

Anyways it was really was warm during the days and colder at night but it was nice having the trailer to keep us warmer and out of the wind! We went for rides and little walks, and both nights were really windy so we sat inside and watch movies till grace went to sleep! It was nice to get away for the weekend but i just wish there were some trees where we went!

This is Grace before we got out of the truck! She LOVES to be outside! We got out of the truck and she started rolling in the dirt! She fed her babies dirt, gave herself and them dirt baths and really just laid in the dirt!
This is a picture i got of her when we went for a ride on the second day! She was so DIRTY! Her finger nails and toe nails were just black and i scrubbed her but could never get her clean, it took a shower and a bath to get her smelling better!
Kyle took this picture when he and Josie went for there walk in the morning! As you can see we are in the weeds and dirt, no trees in sight! We got home and i was cleaning up inside and kyle and grace were cleaning up outside, i looked outside to check on them and i found them giving the babies a bath! Kyle was just out spraying graces favorite baby off so she could play with her inside and then he hung them up by there hair to dry! I thought it was funny, kyle is definitely doing stuff he never though he'd have to do, like giving baby dolls baths!

Our summer starts this weekend, now till the first of September we have something going on about every weekend!
So to start this summer off we are breaking in our trailer! We get to go spend our 3 days away from the house that i have to clean, where you just throw your plate away, no washing required! I am so excited to get away and not do anything but sit and watch Grace play in the dirt! I hope the weather is nice and i hope that everyone gets to do something fun this weekend!

swimming in the sun!

This week has been really nice outside so we have been outside all day! We just have the little blow up swimming pool at our house and grace loves to splash around in that!

Jerrica loves to swim so she invited us in to go swimming with her! She and Grace swam all day they were really in the water for like 3 hours straight! Grace was so tired but she had so much fun in her little turtle!

Grace has recently found out how cool sunglasses are so she loves to wear my huge ones! She thinks they look better when they are upside down so she wears them like the most of the time! Kyle thinks shes so cute when she wears them so he made me take a picture of them!

Random weird facts about us!

OK Annie tagged me and so i have to think of 7 random or weird facts about me!

1. I almost didnt go out with kyle cause i thought he was to nice!!
2. Everything in my house has to have a place, i like to know where everything is!
3. I really want to move somewhere where there are lots of mountains and our nearest neighbor is like a mile away!
4. I LOVE to fish!
5. I dont know my directions at all and i get lost in Overton when its dark!
6. I dont like mouth nosies, slurping, chomping, they make me go CRAZY!!!
7. I dont like the feeling of dirt on my hands or feet!
