PUKE

I finally got around to finishing my first photography project, the first 3 pictures are what i am sending in!
Doing anything is alot harder when you have kids that never stop talking and they need water, milk, fruit snacks, a nap, of my favorite, butts wiped! But hopefully i can find a little time for myself now that i am feeling a better than i have in about 8 months!

With the long weekend we had big plans of camping all weekend, but then the weather turned freezing and we just couldnt do it! So we rode up to cedar on Saturday and spent the day with the Leavitt, it was to cold to really do anything, so we just hung out at the house!

After Addison not sleeping good, and then throwing up at breakfast, we decided to drive to Marysvale, since that is really what we were planning on doing for the weekend. We got to see both grandparents and my dad, and we even went to Big rock to try the food. Next time we go we will for sure get some BBQ ribs! Both Grandpa Ciserella and Grandpa Gibbs were sick, so we didnt really get to see anyone as much as we would have liked.
The girls got to feed the cows and really thats all they wanted to do, so it was a short trip but still fun. We are excited to go back when it gets to hot here!

The twins are really sick with the stomach flu so I am tired and sick of wiping butts and washing sheets with puke on them. They like to wake up at 5 in the morning and cry till 8 at night, really fun days here at the Leavitt home!
I have a really sick stomach right now, but i dont know if it is that i am really getting sick or if it is just from the bug that i found in my salad, YUCK.

I have a million things to do....

I dont know if i am the only one out there with a everyday routine, but if i dont get my "stuff" done then i feel out of control and crazier than usual.

Today was a long day and none of my kids wanted to stay with our routine, Grace was puttering around not doing anything i asked or being helpful in the least, the twins were crying and not sleeping and it was picture day so i had to do Graces hair extra cute, not just plain jane braids.
The twins are sick, again, so that is why they were not following the schedule and would not take a nap, even though they didnt sleep at all the night before!
And to top it off i am addicted to fronterville on facebook.

So After i tried to get the house clean, get the kids clean, get myself clean, (does spraying body spray and putting deodorant on count as a shower?) I tried to do the other stuff i need to get done before grace goes to school,

• fight the twins to lay down for a nap, (they won today)
• make lunch for the twins, 
• make lunch for Grace, 
• get her backpack ready with lunch in it,
• plant some crops and harvest some neighbors crops (haha, fronterville!),
• get twins cleaned up from lunch, 
• set something out for dinner,
• get shoes on all 3 kids and try and keep shoes on all 3 kids, (this one is alot harder than it sounds)
• wipe noses,
• get everyone out to the car by 12:10 sharp so we can get Grace to school on time.

By this point in the day, i was spent.
But i have doctors appointment tomorrow and i will be gone all day so i have double the stuff i need done today for the tomorrow when i wont be here to do it.
I am going all by myself and i am kinda looking forward to being alone, something i am not very often.
Luckily the twin did lay down for about a hour so i sat on my butt and watched some tv.
I did get a few things done i needed to, but we had a doctors appointment for the twins in Logandale so after we got Grace i took all 3 crying children to the doctor!

The twins cried and scram and the few people that were in there just looked at me...... But when you are alone and out numbered, 3 to1, there's just not alot you can do about there crying.

But this doctor has twins of his own and he was sympathetic and listened to me and cared, it was nice!
They have another double ear infection, or maybe they still have the same ear infection, so hopefully after this round of antibiotics we will be happy well rested people again!

They both cried all day and i couldnt do anything to make them fee l better, but at least they are cute when they cry!

Now i am home sitting on the computer in silence, my favorite noise, when i really should be

• making a lunch for grace, 
• cleaning up the house
• or maybe at least cleaning up the pans for dinner that i didnt get to
• taking a shower cause i sweat my butt off at Zumba!
• or maybe just go to sleep!

Oh the joys of being a house wife and momma!

Now off to do something.........

Sickness, GO AWAY.....

Last night after my Zumba class with Mrs. Annie Leavitt, who is awesome, I came home and fell fast asleep, didnt wake up till 9 AM, and  I woke up to no kids crying, a clean house, breakfast already made, and clean kids!!! 
Oh wait thats about the oppisite of how it went down........

After Zumba, which was really fun and a great workout, Annie realy does an amazing job you can tell when she dances she knows whats she is doing. And for a white girl, she can shake her hips and butt with the best of them, I will for sure be going back every tuesday and thursday, 

Now back to my morning...... 
After Zumba, I came home to Addsion crying in her crib cause she was so stuffed up so after some doctoring and some loves from me, I got her back to sleep at 10:30. 
 At 11:14 Grace came in to wake me up cause she had a bad dream. So i slept on the couch and would go and comfort the twins when i could tell they were having a hard time. It was a long night and I climbed into my bed when Kyle was leaving at 5:30! 
Grace woke me up at 7 cause she was hungry, but i have almost no milk so we decided to make pancakes. When they were about done, Grace decided that she wanted cinnamon toast and when i said no she had a come apart so she spent some time in her room.   

The twins started to cry while all the Grace commotion was going on so when i went to get them I opened the door to a horrible smell and lots of crying. I got closer and seen that Alaynna had thrown up all over. 
I hate puke.
So I got her out of bed and in the bath and started cleaning up the crib, the floor, the wall, the clothes. yuck.
After she was out of the bath i was taking her towel back to hang up and getting a diaper when she pooped everywhere. 
So back in the bath and out to get the shampooer to clean up that mess.

I did get all the mess cleaned up, and the kids fed and down for a nap, and now i feel like it is time for myself a nap. 
I really cant wait till all this sickness is out of our home, we have been sick pretty much the whole month and i just really want some sleep!!!

one of those days, i mean weeks!!!

I am having "one of those days" that turned into "one of those weeks" so I am posting these pictures to remind myself how lucky i am!!! 

Even if these little devil children wont let me sleep past 6 AM, never let me nap, always leaving a mess behind them, and never giving me a minute to just sit, i still love them!!! 

I love that Grace helps me SO much.

I love that she always tells me she loves me.

I love that she always wants to get ready with me, or help me with whatever i am doing! 

I love that she listens to me, some kids dont listen! 

I love that she loves her sisters! 

I love that when the twins go to sleep she always wants me to rock her or go outside and play with her! 

She is such a good girl, when she goes out on play dates, or even to Grandma's house i miss her! I sometimes think about home schooling just so she doesnt have to leave me, who knows maybe i will be brave and keep her home so she can learn all the things i have to teach her. 

To bad I dont have much to teach her, so i am sure she will be going to public school so she can learn something!!!!

Some days i am certain i am going to suffer a nervous breakdown because of my twins. 

They are good babies, really they are, if i just had to deal with one of them, then maybe 2 years later the other one, they would be perfect normal little girls!! 

I dont think people really get what it is like to have two babies, two one year olds going through that "clingy, needy, never want mama to never leave there side" stage, or the newborn stage where you are the only one who know what to do with these tiny screaming babies. 

It is hard to know what to do when both girls just want you, like when they push each other off my lap so they dont have to share me!!

I need a extra set of arms to love ever one with and to fill bottles at the same time!

Alot of my days are hard, unless you have twins you probably dont understand how hard some days are.

But with all that said, my twins have good moments too, like the other day when they mauled me with kisses! Or when they play peek-a-boo with each other and laugh and laugh!!  

Or when i hold them and they squeeze me tight cause they love to be held by me!!

Or when i find them not asleep cause they are talking back and forth!! 

So maybe tomorrow i will wake up headache and back pain free and a fairy will have came and mopped my floors and sprinkled happy dust all around my home, but probably not!!! 

I will just have to go to sleep telling myself how lucky i am to have happy healthy kids that love me and a husband that not only puts up with me, but loves me too!!!

memorial weekend

I have been in a "funk" lately, maybe it was the 2 cakes in one week with sick kids and no sleep so now i am sick, or maybe it is just life i have put off dealing with and now it is finally hitting me!!! Whatever it is, my blog and my picture taking has been slacking because of it, so my only thing on my "must do" list for today is get my memorial day post up!!!

We puled the trailer up to Marysvale for the weekend, we were so excited to get out of the house for awhile and Grace was SO excited to be going to Marysvale! She loves it when we start getting packed up to go, then when we get there she starts running and doesnt stop!!

First thing Saturday morning Terrie stopped at the trailer and Grace was all excited to go with her!! She took her up to Grandma black hair, (Grandma Helens), house and it was pretty hard to make her leave!! We knew all the kids were tired so we took them for a little ride and they passed out!!

We rode up Bullion and the leaves weren't even out yet, is was kinda cold but it was nice! I always love to go up the mountain, it reminds me of going for rides as a family when i was younger!! Jakell, Jerrica and I use to sit in the back of the truck and wave to all the trees, we were weird kids but it was fun!!!

A not so fun part about this ride was all the dang 4-wheelers, i about had to get out of the truck and tell some tourist where to go and get the "blank" out of our way, but then after realizing I drive a truck with Nevada plates I decided they probably would have just thought i was some crazy women having a bad day!!!!

After we got back from our ride we stopped back at Grandma black hair and a baby magpie had fallen from the tree so we had to get a few pictures of it!

Grandma made dinner for us, spaghetti!!! I love her spaghetti, you know how there are a few things that everyone makes that are the best you have ever tasted?!? Her spaghetti is that for me, Grandpa on the other hand does not like it, but he ate it anyways!!! I hardly heard any complaining about it too, I made him take a picture with all the girls, he had to take his glasses off so there wouldnt be a glare in the picture!

After going back to the trailer and making the kids beds i hoped for a better nights sleep! On our way to Marysvale they took naps and so when we got there and in the trailer at 11 PM all they wanted to so is run, i dont think the twins have ever been awake that late! So that night was a hard night, but after making them a crib like bed in the corner they did sleep better the 2nd night!!
Grace pretty much laid down closed her eyes and that was it, she really runs till she cant run anymore!!!

On Sunday Kyle got up and went for a ride and hike! Us girls just stayed at the trailer and visited with Grandma and Grandpa Ciserella and waited for my dad to come so we could see him for a minute!!
When the girls were sick of sitting at the trailer and Kyle had got back we went on another ride! The twins fell asleep so we stopped the truck and got out and walked around!! Grace is such a daddy's girl, she loves to do whatever he is doing!!

For the rest of Sunday we just hung out and visited and let the kids run and roll and eat the dirt!! Because they rolled and ate dirt we went up and had some baths at Grandma Helens!!! While we were there, Maddi and Lexi were there to so we got to visit with them!!!

While visiting down stairs, my wonderfully older Grandma tells Maddi that she needs to put her phone charger that is plugged in out of reach of the kids cause if one of them was to get ahold of it and put it in their mouths it would blow their head apart, (anyone that know my grandma, know those were pretty much her exact words!!).
Maddi Lexi and I just kinda looked at each other then laughed, I told her she was crazy and that wouldnt happen, then she tells us that not to long ago it happened to a kid in Richfield!!!! After quite a debate we took it to Kyle and my Grandpa, Kyle said no that it wouldnt happen, but my Grandpa was on Grandma's side so we did a little experiment!!! Maddi walked over plugged her charger in and stuck it in her mouth!!!! Needless to say Maddi's head didn't blow up and she didnt even get a little shock!!!! So TV's and microwaves dont give off radiation that can kill you and phone chargers are perfectly safe to suck on while plugged in!!!!!

Monday before we went home, we decided we better go to Sandy's in Richfield for a cherry fresh lime!! We got some fries and took it to the park for a picnic! We had a little visitor, a seagull, at first Grace was scared of him but after throwing him some food she thought it was pretty cool!! So her and the twins threw fries and chased the poor bird!!! It was alot of fun and the kids really enjoyed running around before our long trip home!!!

Grace talked and asked are we there yet and the twins cried from about cedar to home!! When we were finally coming down the valley Grace says, "wait a minute, we are home!" We said yep we are almost home! Then she says "We have finally made it to our habitat!" I about died over laughing, some of the things she says cracks me up!!!!
After we got home the girls were so happy, they just ran everywhere and laughed!!! Grace even put on a fashion show for us!!!

We had a great time but the girls make it harder to stay in the trailer, Kyle asked me why i wasnt as organized this trip and i told him this was my first time camping with 3 kids who can run and tear everything apart in about 2 seconds!!! Hopefully it gets easier or we will just have to camp in the living room where cribs are not to far away!!!
After getting home I made cake all week, to see my cute 2 cakes i made click HERE (for the birthday cake)  or HERE (for the graduation cake)!
Now we are all sick with colds and Alaynna threw up this morning, not fun!! Hopefully we over this crap cause Vance comes home in a week and we want to be able to hug him, I am just a little excited to see him, 2 years is way to long!!!

Addison has learned how to throw fits while standing, this is in the middle of throwing one in this picture...

She throws her arms back and stomps around crying, it is really funny!!! 

Alaynna started to walk last night!!

We were getting the girls in PJ's so we could go for a ride and neither me or Kyle were watching but she walked right over to us, then wouldnt stop walking!!! 

She still crawls more than she walks, but thats just cause she wants to!!

These 3 kids of mine have been giving me a hard time lately, for real i need a break!!! Thank goodness Kyle is taking me on a little vacation this weekend, kid free!!!

I will miss the girls, but it is time for me to sleep in, take a nap, not clean the house, no changing dirty diapers, and eat without getting up a million times to take care of somebody!!

I got the girls taking a good 2nd nap again, they just go to bed a 1/2 hour later, i can handle that, i couldnt handle not having a 2nd nap!!!! 

Oh Grace, she is so very bull headed!!!! 

She will be going to test for preschool here in a few weeks and i have been trying to work with her numbers and ABC's, and if it isnt her idea she will not do it!!! 

I could never ever be a teacher, i am not near patience enough, is there any advise out there on how to not want to cry and throw the book while trying to teach your 3 almost 4 year old "stuff"??? 

She actually does really well when you dont ask her and she doesnt know you are listening!!! 

Help me out here all of you with kids about this age, how did you help teach them!!!

Boxes and sickness

I think for the girls birthday i am just going to wrap up a box for them, between the paper and the box they will be entertained for hours!!
Monday was a bad day at our house, the kids have been sick and i hadnt slept at all, so we all looked sick and tired! I had to get out of the house so we went outside and i swear everyone in the neighborhood stopped to see the girls. Why cant anyone stop when i have everyone cute, no snotty noses and matching clothes??

Monday night Grace got the throw-ups again, i dont know what is going on with her, but she is better!

Addison is getting her top 4 teeth and so she is so sad and doesnt sleep!! 

Alaynna is just sick, i dont know what is wrong with her, (neither does the doctor) but she has just been running a fever, has a runny nose, and doesnt sleep!

Grace and Addison slept alot better last night, so maybe  the sickness is leaving our house and I hope it doesnt come back, i am sick of having sick kids! 

The other morning at breakfast Grace had to pee, this happens at ever meal, this time took her a little longer than usual.

That is because she was cold, this was her solution to that problem.....

She is nuts!!!

lady bugs

My girls have been sick and sick girls dont sleep and that means i dont sleep!!
They all have just had bad colds, no earaches, no bad sore throats, nothing but runny noses, bad coughs, and just miserable and since they dont have any bad things there isnt really anything to give them to help!
Needless to say i was going crazy and so Me and Kyle went and got bricks and plants for outside and Kyle made me go buy some new pants and shorts!
Does anyone else out there hate to go shopping for clothes? When i go to the mall i feel like i am a old lady shopping in the teen area with all the skinny tall teenagers, i dont like it. I am short so that makes buying pants a freaking nightmare and my muffin top and small chest make shirts not to fun either!!
Oh well, i will just stick to shopping for kitchen stuff, beads, and anything for the yard and hope that Jerrica or Jakell clean out their closets soon!!! 

Anyways we went to star nursery, (probably one of the funnest places to shop for me and kyle), and we seen this little bucket of lady bugs, approximately 1500 lady bugs were in it and so we had to get it for Grace!! 

She was so excited and the little girls and Trueitt even got it on it, mostly they just tried to eat the bugs, but it was still fun! 

It was probably the best $6 we have spent in a long time, it kept Grace busy for a hour and we even went out today and found alot of them were still around!

Grace was covered in lady bugs and was as happy as could be!!!

teeth.......

Today i have just been dead.... ok like the past 3 days!

It is like i have newborn twins all over again, they are getting teeth and it is hell.
They both just cry all night and want to be loved all day, and they dont feel good and are in pain so i have to love them better! And it is ok that i love them better, it just makes me tired! I wish that i knew what to do for them, but for now they get to chew on cold rags, eat lots of teething tablets, and get lots of loves!

 

 

I know that i am really tired cause what i really wanted to cook for dinner was a box of cereal! I  thought about just dumping into bowls, putting them on the floor and letting the girls have at them, i didnt, but i really did think about it, alot.
