September

September is just about over, it was a a blur of getting use to having a routine again. I am finally starting to feel like my old self again too!
Some things that have happened around the house.......

Kyle went hunting and got this deer, not bad for the last day!

I taught myself to knit, it is a wonderful relaxing hobby, plus I have been making dish cloths, and they are actually useful!

I have had migraines more days than I haven't this month.
Also Penn and Nancy moved away, I use to be sad about it, now I think I am just mad at them, but in a loving way, like I am mad at my sisters, mom, and dad for all moving away from us too!

The girls helped Kyle cut up his deer, they loved the smell of it. They really would pick up a piece of meat and take a big whiff....... gross!!!!
I had to hide inside cause I cant do the smell of deer. I use to be able to eat a deer steak, but I cooked one when I was pregnant with the twins, it ruined me. The thought of one just makes me sick!

Kyle and I are both anti Disneyland, but for some reason we decided that we just had to go trick or treat there. We are actually really excited to go and we are not going to tell the girls till we are on our way!

The girls are growing like weeds, and I am sad about it.
I have been reading them "If I could keep you little..." and I cry every time, they think I am crazy, but it is a sad book.

If you haven't read it, I am going to write it here so you other mothers can cry with me!

If I could keep you little, I'd hum you lullabies. But then I'd miss you singing your concert's big surprise.
If I could keep you little, I'd hold your hand everywhere. But then I'd miss you knowing, "I can go... you stay there."
If I could keep you little, I'd kiss your cuts and scrapes. But then Id miss you learning from your own mistakes.
If I could keep you little, I'd strap you in real tight. But then I'd miss you swinging from your treetop height.
If I could keep you little, I'd decided on matching clothes. But then I'd miss you choosing dots on top and stripes below.
If I could keep you little, I'd cut your bread into shapes. But then I'd miss you finding. "Hey! I like ketchup with my grapes!"
If I could keep you little, I'd tell you stories every night. But then I'd miss you reading the words you've learned by sight.
If I could keep you little, I'd pick for you a friend or two. But then I'd miss you finding friends you like, who like you, too!
If I could keep you little, I'd push your ducky float. But then I'd miss you feeling the wind behind summer's boat.
If I could keep you little, We'd nap in our fort midday. But then I'd miss you sharing adventures from camp away.
If I would keep you little, I'd fly you with my feet. But then I'd miss you seeing sky and clouds from your seat.
If I could keep you little, I'd keep you close to me. But then I'd miss you growing into who you're meant to be!

Why do they have to grown up???

Halloween

To say my children were bouncing off the walls on halloween night, (well the 30th cause thats when we celebrated here in the valley) is a under statement!!

Grandma Merri came over and got them all sugared up and then I had to try and get them to hold still while i got them dressed!!
It was alot harder than it sounds!
I for real was chasing them around the house and i even made Kyle hold them down for a minute, to try and get them ready, that is why the twins hair looks...  the way it does, to put it nice!

I took them outside in hopes of getting a good picture of the little devil fairies, but i didnt get a great one like i was hoping, but since they are beautiful, i got some ok ones!!!

The flowers that i got were as big as there heads, and the twins didnt really love them so they got ripped out about 100  times before the night was over!

We didnt do the trick-or-treat thing, moslty because they all have colds and there noses were running and i just didnt want them out in the cold!
So we did the grandparent thing!
My mom came by with treats that got them sugared up,
Then we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa Leavitts for some yummy puffed rice balls,
Then down to Grandma and Grandpa Leavitts, where they got to see all the trick-or-treaters and pass out some candy, (and they loved it!) get thrown around by the uncles, see tiffany the dog-fish, and play with aunt Laura!

By the time we left they were down to onsies and were passed out before we got home!

They had alot of fun and it was fun to see them be crazy, even though they wore me and kyle out!

The only down side to this Halloween was i didnt have one tricker-or-treater, so now i have about 6 bags of salt water taffy and a bucket of other candy!

Graces Halloween Party

This week was a busy one, it has been a blur.
But it has been so nice to sit around on this long weekend and the best part is we even have one more day of it, yea for holiday time!!

On Thursday Grace had her school party and we were in charge of a veggy tray and I even got around to making some yummy Halloween chex mix!

At the school they do a parade out on the playground so we had to go watch her walk around with all the other kids, i was excited!
I am one of those moms that the office ladys get sick of cause i call so much and ask stupid questions, so it is a good thing one is my mom-in-law and i am pretty sure she has to love me no matter what, right Nancy?!

I didnt have enough time to get everything i needed finished before we left, so i was multitasking.

As I was driving down the valley, in construction, tying ribbons on the bags of chex mix,

Grace asked,"Should i pray?"
I said, "what?"
She said, "Should i pray we dont get ran over."
So I laughed and stopped tying ribbons and started to look at the road, sometimes she reminds me that i am doing something i probably shouldn't be doing, i love it!

Ever since we went to Disney land Grace has been wanting to be Tinker Bell for Halloween so thats what we made her!

I am to cheap to go spend money on costumes so i made them this year, some people thought she was a butterfly and it at first made me upset, but i got over it, cause butterflies are cute too!

When we got out on to the playground she kept waving telling the kids that, "Theres my mom and sisters and Grandma Nancy!"
And she waved, every time she seen us!

The other little princess fairys are Allison with the dark hair and Saphire with the blond hair!

Of course Conner wasnt to far behind, he is spiderman!!

Kids make every holiday funner and she was so excited to dress up that it made it fun for me to, but i am glad that holidays are only once a year cause 12 four and five year olds could drive a person crazy!!!!

Dance and Blanket

This month i have not stopped, I for real have been doing something everyday since the first of the month.
First school started, and that messed up our schedule, then we went to Cedar Mountain for labor day, then Me and Grace went to San Diego, and this last weekend we went to the happiest place on earth, Disney Land!
My brain is gone, I cant think straight and i have so many things going on in my mind I just jump from one thing to the next and nothing seems to get accomplished anymore! But life should be slowing down now so maybe i can start to get back to normal!

We missed the first day of dance class, cause we went to see baby Khole, but I didnt tell Grace that we missed it.
So for Grace's first day of class she was so excited! I must have been too cause i took her at 3 and didnt realized her class wasnt till 3:45 till it was to late! Good thing Mrs. Amanda is so sweet, she didnt even tell me that i am crazy, thats why we love her!!
So hopefully this week we will make it on time, but Grace loves dance class no matter if it is the right or wrong time!

Before i knew i was having twins, I started a blanket for Trueitt, ya it was a long time ago.
I got all the squares cut and the fronts sewed to the backs, but thats about where it ended. My back started to hurt when i would sit up for to long, my belly got to big to do anything, i felt like crap, and I was just pretty much pregnant with twins. Then i had twins and a 3 year old so nothing got done, a blanket was the last thing on my mind! But now that Grace goes to school and the twins usually lay down for about a hour during that time i can actually do something, so i finished Trueitts baby blanket, (he is now 19 months old, haha)!

It turned out pretty cute and since it was a rag quilt you can only see how uneven it is when you turn it over! But it was made with lots of love and not much skill, maybe the next one i do will be a little more even!

The twins love it when i get the camera out so this is them modeling on the blanket!

Now it is school time so my Disney land post will have to wait!!!!!!

Gibbs Reunion

After alot of planning and getting things together, it is over!!
This year our family, (Ciserella, Leavitt, and Revay), were in charge of planning the reunion!! We decided that our family is just a little on the competitive side we would do a survivor theme!!
We split up into tribes and went at it!!!

We left Friday, Grace got to ride with Jerrica and Joey and she was pretty excited about that! She talked about it for a week, she really loves Jerrica!! The ride there was pretty quiet compared to our regular trips, we kinda missed Graces talking! We got caught in traffic right after St. George because of road construction, I don't like traffic and i was getting so annoyed with it. We got off at Leads to try and avoid a little of it,  Jerrica was behind us so we told her to get off the Leads exit too and go around it.My mom had left before us and got stuck in the traffic, she showed up in Marysvale about a hour after us so we were happy that we weren't stuck that long, i don't think the twins could have sat in the truck for that long!!!

Everyone was excited to be there, i think! Grandma made some ribs, we were to late and had ate in cedar but i heard they were really good!!!
One thing with our family is that no one like pictures, I tried to get a few good ones of everyone, but they would turn their heads or put something in front of their face!! Here are a few i got on Friday night!!!

We didn't do a while lot Friday night, just hung out, talked, and tried to get a few thing done for the next day!

The thing we do most at the reunion is eat!!!!
We had some good biscuits and gravy that Shelly and Dougs family made for us on Saturday morning!!!!
The girls loved all the fruit that we had, they sat at the little table and ate and ate!!!

After breakfast, we started to fill water balloons!!!

While we did the balloons the twins took a nap right out on the grass. That is what happens when you don't sleep at night in the trailer, you get your bottle and take a nap. I really want to lay down with them, but i didn't and that's why i am still tired!!!

We brought these balloon sling shots, and we filled up about 1000 water balloons to sling at each other!!!
It was nice that everyone pitched in and helped, we had fillers and tires and then we would switch!!!
After we filled all the balloons we loaded them all to the middle of the field, broke up into our tribes and started shooting!!!
Sherries team for sure lost, at one point she was laying in cow crap having water balloons thrown at her!! Doug also got a pretty good hit right to the guts, and I even hit Kyle!!!!
I didn't get any pictures of all the shooting cause i didn't want to get my camera wet, but it was alot of fun!!!!!

After that we went back to the house for lunch! Terries family was in charge of that and lets just say Terrie should have been born in Mexico cause she makes the best tacos!!!!
Really, I wish that she was here now to make me up some pork tacos, like cafe rio style!!!
I really don't think anyone was hungry, but thats what we do at the family reunion, beat each other up and eat!!!

This is Mckells "competition shirt", whenever she is in any kind of competition she puts it on!!! I am glad she did, cause our team kicked butt with the balloons!!!!

Jerrica brought these cute glasses and bunny ears for the little kids to wear, Alaynna liked her so much she cried when we tried to take them off!!

After lunch we had a treasure hunt, I made it up this year and lets just say i will not be in charge of that in the near future, or ever again!!!!
I had them run all around town,  Kyle said he was still sore!!!
I had a clue that said, "Ding Dong, your clue is inside" It was hid inside of the bell in front of the old school house, well they thought it was on a package of ding dongs in the store so they all went in and asked for the clue!!!
Then we are going up the road and everyone is running when all the sudden a strange man on a 4 wheeler pulls up to the side of me with Sherrie on the back of it!!! She had ran and ran and just got to tired so at the store she asked for a ride from a complete stranger!!!!
Riley ended up winning the $100 and Kyle decided he was never doing one again cause he is to old!!!
Next we did Jerricas baby shower!!!!
She got a lot of nice things, my favorite were the little cowboy boots!!!
I am so excited for Jerrica to have her little girl!!!
After the shower we played donkey soccer!!
This game didn't last to long because the ball got popped!! But that is probably a good thing cause potatoes are dangerous!!!
You are suppose to just use your hips to hit the ball, but we were using them like golf clubs, a few people did get hit, (my mother) and i have heard about it all day, so donkey soccer is not a game that should be played by our family!!!!

After that, we ate again!!!!! We made jerk chicken, baked potatoes, pasta salad, and bread!! It was really good, and because you always have to have sugar, we made grilled banana splits!

We were all pretty tired so we didnt have much of a camp fire, we just sat around for a minute then went to sleep!!

We woke up Saturday morning, the girls let us sleep in a little, and went over for more food!!!
Biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, all made by the Poulson/Merkly family!!!!
After breakfast we cleaned up and said our goodbyes!!!

This year, like every year, was alot of fun, I love to be able to get together as a big family like that!!!
I cant wait for next year, it'll be a good one cause Terrie is in charge!!!
