A nascar wedding!

Jessica and Joey finally got married!
It was actually a beautiful wedding and perfect for those two!
I made the cake and it turned out beautiful, but even more than that it was delicious!!!
I'm so glad that I got to go in and see them on their special day!

Halloween

I like Halloween, I always have and probably always will!
I love thinking of cute things to dress the girls like and 3 of the 5 Twins Halloweens I have made them really cute things, Cat in the Hat with Thing 1 and Thing 2, Cruella Deville and 2 dalmatians, and this year the Mad Hatter and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum! 

Grace was pretty excited to be the Mad Hatter, and I thought she turned out so cute!!
Grace had a fun school party that me and the twins went and crashed!
I was in charge of bringing a pumpkin cake!  

The kids thought it was cool, and it was alot of fun to make!

We had mummy dogs for dinner, that no one ate, so really we all had candy for dinner!

I love this picture of the girls! I told them to strike a pose, Grace is crazy and Addsion and Alaynna did the same thing and i didn't notice till I loaded the pictures.

We trick-or-treated, got to much candy, and had so much fun!
We had a really good day, and hopefully next year i can think if something good for the girls to be!

Addison and Alaynnas 4th Birthday

My babies turned 4, I still cant believe that they are that old!
Sometimes I forget that they are getting big, sometimes I dont want them to get older, sometimes I want my babies back, but I guess getting older is part of life, as sad as it is for me!

I dont do the whole huge party thing, I just think that if you do huge stuff for them when they are young, how do you top yourself the next year. A cake, some ice cream and some family and I call it good.

I run into different problems with the twins than I did with Grace.
Every year Grace gets jealous cause she feels left out, and people usually bring something for her to open up, and it is even more confusing for her and at some point in her life she has to learn that it sucks, but it isnt her day. 
Another problem... getting two of something gets expensive, but it is Addisons birthday and it is Alaynnas birthday, it sucks that they have to share gifts.
Another problem... Addison and Alaynna couldn't be more different, but if you get one a doll and the other one coloring stuff, they want what the other one has!
I know these arent real "problems" but they are things that you dont think about when you say you want twins, believe me, you dont want twins!

The day of the big day they woke up early and I sang "happy happy birthday to my birthday girls!" and they laughed and wanted me to sing again! We just let them play and play, they decided they didnt want there hair done cute and they wanted to pick out clothes by themselves!

They waited and waited till everyone got here so that they could blow out their candles and eat their rainbow flower cakes! After cake they opened up all kinds of nice gifts, like stompeez, clothes, rain boots, umbrellas, and lawn mowers that blow bubbles!
After everyone left they played more! When they were hungry for dinner, they made themselves birthday pizza! Ok, we all made our own pizzas, all 3 of the girls ate more than they ever have and we had alot of fun!

They said they had a great birthday and asked if it could be there birthday again in the morning!!

It has been a crazy 4 years, there have been someday when I didnt know if we would make it to see year 4, but we did!
They get easier ever day and they are each others best friend.
They play all day together and get into all kinds of trouble.
They egg each other on to get into trouble!
They stick up for each other to the point Addison will beat you up if you are mean to Alaynna.
If you make Addison mad you are no longer her best friend.
Alaynna can get Addison to do pretty much anything she doesnt want to.
When it is just the two of them talking to each other, you cant understand a dang thing they say!

They are so fun and life just wouldnt be as fun without them! 

Leighton turns 1!

Leighton had her 1st birthday party and I got to make the cake! 

Laura did a really cute job on the party! 

The girls had alot of fun finding Easter eggs and jumping on the trampoline! 

Graces friend party

Since we were in Marysvale for the week of Graces real Birthday, I decided to throw her a friend party this year. Plus all the family seemed to be gone!

She decided that she wanted a water party. She wanted a cake that looked like water, had a sprinkler on it, sand on the top, and flip flops in the sand. So this is what she got...

We decided to just play with squirt guns, the swimming pool, and the sprinkler.

For some reason the girls were shooting at me with the squirt guns. I yelled, "lets get Kyle" and well they got him!

He was just sopping wet head to toe. He told me he was to nice at this party and he will not be joining us on any future friend parties. He also said it took all he had to not shoot one of them in the eye!!!!

They ran around for about an hour out there, then they decided to come in.
I got asked what craft we would be doing.
I had to say, "ummmm no crafts at this party!" Are you suppose to do crafts at birthday party's and i just didnt know this?!?!

I did have a chocolate fountain that was a big hit and i think it made up for no craft!

These girls dipped everything and double dipped it again and again!

After all the chocolate they could handle, they dressed up and danced around to music while Grace took some pictures and videos. At one point she says " Hey guys, dance really good, then we can put it on the blog"!!

When it was time for presents, this little girls yells, "I bet no one can tell what mine is!"

Grace had alot of fun,
Kyle decided for sure this would be the one and only party he would be attending,
i cried for the future teenagers at my home,
and we all ate chocolate and cake till we were sick!
It was a good day!!!

PS... look for a post with Grace pictures, she is watching me write this blog and is pretty upset none of her pictures made it on here! 

catch up, again.

Kyle turned the big 28 this year, we had ribs and carrot cake and had Nancy come down! Kyle likes his birthdays pretty low key and he gives me a list to choose from for a present!
I really like to surprise him, it doesnt happen very often cause I have a way of ruining them! This year I bought his present so that it showed up at the house only a few days before his birthday so he couldnt find it and as soon as i got it i stuck it under my bed!
I didnt tell or show Grace anything. So the night before his birthday i was finishing his cake and we were talking and Grace asked what we got him. I didnt say anything, then she said, "i bet you put it under the bed!" I must of had a look on my face cause Kyle took of running and locked me out of the bedroom, found his present and opened it!
He is a pain in the butt!

For about the last year i have had more and more food bother my stomach, then about the last 3 or 4 months i have had a odd pain on my right side under my ribs that never goes away.
I had a suspicion that it was a ulcer, my gallbladder, or my kidneys. So after going to my favorite doctor, having a ultrasound, and a HIDA scan, we decided my gallbladder had a blockage and was diseased.
I had Dr. Winch, my favorite surgeon, take it out on Thursday. I thought that it was just a little laparoscopy surgery, but i have had a little bit of a hard time recovering. I look like i have been in a knife fight, i am pretty drugged up, i have to have help sitting up, and it hurts to sleep on right side! But everyday i feel a little bit better and now i just have to watch what i eat for next little while till my body can learn to deal without my gallbladder!
Kyle has been great at taking car of me, the girls, and the house! But I think that Kyle is ready for me to start feeling better and retake over dinner and cleaning the house!

Grace had spring break last week, we did a whole lot of nothing, it was fun! We played all morning and didnt comb our hair till noon, it was wonderful!

The other morning Alaynna found a doll binky! None of my girls did binkys when they were little, to get them to take it was more work than just rocking them or whatever else i did to calm them. But now my 3 year old has decided that this doll binky is her new friend! For real this child gives me a run for my money, she is nuts!

If i would let the twins, they would would wear tutus and dress up clothed everyday! when we just hang out at home i do let them, but that is just cause sometimes i just dont have the energy for the fight!

I started some Photography classes and this is one of the pictures for my first assignment! Grace isnt as in focus as id like, but really this was the best i could get and i think it turned out pretty good! 

catch up, again

It has been awhile since I posted last, you would think I would have alot to post about, but i dont!

Jakell came down and surprised me, I love seeing them, I miss her and the kids like crazy! 

Taygan loves me, no but really, she loves me.
I made Jakell leave her and Trueitt with me while she went and got her hair done!

The girls love her too, we all love to have a baby around to squeeze, and Taygan has plenty to squeeze, she has more rolls than I have ever seen!

I have also been making cakes, when I make cake, i dont do a whole lot more. I dont think that people know how much time goes into a cake. Sometimes when I do them I remember why i say "this is my last cake" every time i do a cake!

My sister-in-law had her baby shower and i made a cake for that, it looked like her invitations!
I cant wait till she has the baby, she will be the first cousin on the Leavitt side!

And she will also be probably one of the world best dressed under 1, she got a ton of cute clothes! Arent clothes just so much cuter when they are tiny!?!

I havent been feeling great the last little while, so Kyle decided I was stressed and that i needed some stress relieved! He thought shooting the gun would help, and it actually did, a little! (Not my cute blue gun, the scary black AR 15!) I think we be going again soon!

It might be cause i havent felt good, (probably not), but things have been annoying me lately, i will tell you a few of them...

• Blogs with music, i hate it when it is all quiet in the house cause everyone is sleeping and then all of the sudden music that you dont even like scares the crap out of you.
• The upcoming election, or more specific, Mitt Romney and club.
• Facebook. is it me or do some people put way to much details about how wonderful there life is and how great they are out there?!
• PEOPLE WHO TYPE IN CAPS, it looks like they are yelling at me.
• Salesmen, or anyone else who knocks on my door trying to get me to do something or buy something.

There are more, but the more i write, the meaner i sound! Can you tell i am sleep deprived and irritated with the world!?

Some things that dont irritate me are....
My kids!!!

Grace had a dance recital, her first one dancing with Amber!
It was a community dance get together thing and all the dance, cheer, and gymnastics teams from around the valley got together and performed.
It turned out really good and Grace was so nervous, but she got to wear make-up and that made her a little more excited.

She didnt really dance, she looked at her teacher and you could tell she was scared up there. But hello she is so cute who cares!
When I went and got her she didnt have alot to say to me, she just was watching the other dancers. Then she went and sat with Kyle and he asked if she was nervous up there, her reply, "I got up there and I just started to freak out!" I guess thats why we didnt see to much dancing going on!!!

With all that is wrong with the world and all the idiots in it I am sure glad I have my girls to keep me happy and crazy!!
