all good things come to a end...

Well we had our week vacation and didnt kill each other, that means that it was a good trip! I'll tell you all about it and then i will tell you how our good times came to a halt!

We left friday night to go to Marysvale, the night before i had got NO sleep, really like 3 hours and i was running around trying to get everything done so i was tried! We got a little past St George when i finally fell asleep. I was awoke by Kyle yelling that Grace had thrown up all over herself!!! Thats when you know you should probably turn around and just save your money by staying home, but we just stopped got cleaned up and kept going!! Well the trip up there was one of the longest and it really never got better, Grace just cried and scrame at the top of her lungs from cedar to Marysvale!! When we got there and she ran around for a little bit she was just fine! As you can see she just was a little car sick and was sick of being cramped in the back seat with Josie!

We got up saturday morning and slowly made our way to Fish Lake to be with kyles side of the family! I love being up there although we didnt get to fish we just sat around and didnt do much of anything! When we were sitting outside trying to find deer on the side of the mountain Grace put on a little show for us. She is into dancing and singing!! She got up on the rock and danced and sang her little heart out, we had no idea what she was singing but it was cute!! I dont know what she wanted but this is her face when she says PLEASE!! How could you say no to her! You can tell she is dirty, Kaden bought her a ball and it hit her in the face and left dirt marks! Uncle Kaden is always buying her things so that she will like him and he bought her a creamy!! She ate the whole thing and loved it!! You can see how dirty she is in this one, look at her nasty hands!!! You cant keep her clean when we are in the hills!! Kyle is ALWAYS looking in his binoculars for deer so i made Grace her own pare, they lasted like 10 minutes and then she stepped on them!! After coming down from Fish Lake on Monday we rode up to the monroe mountains to see if we could see the huge elk that is up there. Grace got bored and used 2 pages of stickers on herself! We didnt see the huge elk but we seen a few big ones and lots of deer! We rode over to Barney Lake and did some illegal fishing but we didnt catch anything, i think this is the prettiest lake in the world!! Now for a funny story, we got all ready to go for the day and we decided we would cook some hamburgers and beans for dinner! We had everything but the buns and ketchup, so we had to stop at the store to get buns and i was going to take my Grandpas ketchup. Kyle went in the store and brought me my pepsi, that im addicted to again, and himself a drink and Grace some candy. I said thanks and we started up the mountain. We got about half way up their and kyle says "did you grab the ketchup" I just laughed and asked him "where are the buns!" We forgot to get either so we had patties and beans!!! We had a good laugh about how stupid we are!!! The 24th of July is my favorite holiday, I have only missed it once in my life!!! Me and Kyle beat Jayden and Terrie up for the candy at the parade, and then went down to the kids games! Grace liked them but she was more impressed with the little playground! She kept Kyle busy playing while i talked to old friends! Kyle thought the fish rodeo was a must so he and Grace got in there and played, i was no where near the fish or water, 2 things i am scared of!!! they wouldnt let me go in to take pictures but kyle said she loved it till they let the fish go and they touched her!! Shes her mommas girl!!! I'm pretty sure kyle had more fun then Grace!!! Grace made Kyle get up and help her make our camp spot up on the mountain pretty!!! We pulled our Trailer up to the Gibbs spot so that it will be there for our family reunion!! Grace is such a ham, i tell her pose and she does this, i defiantly she a future in hollywood for her!!! We only had the 4-wheeler to ride so we had to get all covered up when the storm was coming! I wouldnt let kyle take a picture of me, i had on my grandpas suit and looked crazy!!! So now for the sad ending to our story, On Friday i came down the mountain to send a text to Lindsi who was getting married that day and i got a message from Jakell saying that i needed to call her back ASAP. She also called my Grandma and Kyles phone. So she tells me that the floor is wet in Graces bathroom and she's called Kaden to come and look. Well come to find out our water heater broke and flooded graces closet, bedroom, hallway, hallway closet, bathroom, and the laundry room! There was nothing we could do from Marysvale so Penn and Nancy came down to see what they could do and we called our insurance. They sent someone out to clean it up but they put 11 HUGE fans in the house to try and dry it out! Mean while our air conditioner had 2 inches of ice on it, it was a mess!!! I am kinda crazy about cleaning my house and i like it when everything has its place. When i got home everything from that end of the house was everywhere!!!! The carpet and stuff was ripped up and walls were tore out in the closet! The insurance lady came today and we are going to get every thing taken care of, but right now it is quite a sad mess!! After she left i finally got out of my bad mood!! I think if something else would have gone wrong the past few days i really would have went crazy!!!
Anyways we had alot of fun on our trip and cant wait to go back to Marysavle in two weeks!! We only have this month and we will be done traveling for awhile. It is sad but when it cools down here i can stand it, i dont like it but i can live with it!!
