5 years ago i was....

1. I was almost 17 and a Junior in high school, I think!
2. I had just cut my long hair off to the shortest and cutest it has ever been!
3. Was so excited for our Junior Carnival and Prom, that by the way, were both the best in Piute history!
4. Had lots of different boyfriends and didnt ever want to get married!!
5. Didnt have a care in the world and had no idea about the real world either!!

It has been a long time since i have posted anything, mostly because i have been sick and SO busy!
I have been baby sitting little MaKala and going from one to two kids over night and not having 9 months to prepare for it is hard! I use to blog, stitch, clean, and just sit around while Grace took her nap, but now i hold and play with the baby, it probably doesn't help that Grace is trying to give up her nap! She is really such a great baby to watch, and Grace loves her! I just wish i could get more done than i have been!
2 weeks ago me and Grace got a horrible cold! We both laid around all week and gave our cold to everyone!
Then the next week Kyle went up to School and left me and Grace here at the house all week, i had a migraine for 5 days and so everything i planed on doing didn't get done! I think the head aches went along with the cold cause everyone that has it now has the bad headaches!
After Kyle got home on Thursday we decided that we were going to make the trip to Marysvale on Friday after i got done babysitting! Kyle really wanted to go pine hen hunting and so he went and stayed at the trailer and i stayed at my grandmas. We didn't see each other much cause he was seriously gone hunting the whole weekend. He got quite a few of the birds and is planning on me cooking them this week for him, but they stink to high heaven! Anyways I got to see all the family down there and i even got to see Steph and Kenadi. She is so big, shes crawling everywhere and she is so dang cute!
Kyle decided that we were going to leave at 7:30 PM on Sunday, i don't really care cause i sleep the whole time anyways. So we leave and didn't get home till 11:00 and walk into our 90 degree house, yes 90 degrees, our air condition broke. Thank goodness the next morning we got somebody to come and look at it but the diagnosis was not great. The moter broke so we got that fixed and they said that the whole thing could break at anytime and we needed a new one. They then told us how much they were, and holy cow I'm going to get into the air conditioner business!
So my house is still torn up inside, outside, now we need a new air conditioner, thank goodness its only my home that's falling apart!!!

Here are a few pictures from the past few weeks....

Aunt Jakell gave Grace this huge sucker and it got everywhere and Grace loved it, I on the other hand didn't!! Kyle has our front yard all ripped out and he's going to re plant our grass and do a few other things to it! Hopefully that will get done this winter, its finally cooling down so he can start working outside more!
Grandpa Penn bought Grace a bag of M&M's and she got them all over in her teeth, she looked so funny i would just laugh at her then she would make this face at me and we'd both laugh!
My poor sick girl, i had been picking up the house and i couldn't hear Grace playing anymore and i found her sleeping with her babies right next to her!!
On Friday morning Kyle was playing with Grace outside when he told me to bring him the camera!! I guess my cat killed this HUGE scorpion. They are the ugliest things and i hate them!! Grace and Josie fell asleep on the way to Marysvale, Josie slept on her like this for a long time, i think its so cute!! All the leaves were changing, and it was so pretty, i love this time of year!!

Just Stuff

Well there has not been a lot going on here, we have been trying to get stuff ready for our new doors to be put in and it has been a pain in the behind! We finally did get them and our base boards and the guy will be here on Monday to put them in, then we can get started on the floors! I really couldnt handle looking at my off white wall anymore so we are in the middle of painting the walls tan and the ceiling, doors, and base board white! It is really looking good, but i have nothing on the walls and no curtains so it looks like we are moving in again!

The other day grace wanted to watch 102 dalmatians so i put it on and was doing stuff around the house and i found her passed out! Shes so funny she likes to have her dolls be her when she sleeps!!

You can see what a difference paint makes, i'm excited to have it all done!! When we were painting and stuff grace decided she would eat a plum and she ate almost the whole thing then went and got herself a peach!
I dont know what she is doing here but she just sat there talking to Josie and Josie just laid there and listened!
Last weekend Jerrica came out so we went to my moms house and watched a movie and just hung out, it was alot of fun! Grace got Grandma to dress up and have tea with her, they all do anything Grace tells them too, i wonder why she is so spoiled!
This weekend i'm putting Kyle to work again, he has to get as much as he can done cause he's leaving me next weekend and all week to go to school! Then we are off to Marysvale so he can go hunting and i can go to Meagan and Dave reception! If i dont get floors in and my walls all the way painted soon i think i'm going to go crazy!
