slip and slides and goose eggs

We havent done much of anything this week, cause it is to hot and i have been doing this cake! 

Grandpa Frank gave Grace this slip and slide for her Birthday!!! 

We got it out the other  hot sweltering horrible normal day and let the girls play!

 

You can kinda see my new car in this one, that i forgot to mention! It is a really pretty green Chevy Malibu! We went back and forth on a suv or car, but we decided we dont want the huge suv payment and it is SO nice to drive a vehicle that gets good gas mileage and that you dont have to park in the back of the parking lot cause your to huge!!!  Maybe someday i will remember to take a picture of it!!

Yesterday we were sitting at the computer talking about something, when Grace yells she needs to go to the potty and runs into my bedroom, then we heard a HUGE thump!!!! 

It was Grace running into my bathroom door!!!!! 

After the thump there was a really loud screaming cry and so i ran to see what had happened and found Grace with a HUGE goose egg!!! 

It was pretty bad, but today it looks so much better! She wouldnt let me get a picture of it, so this one is the best i could get.

She was pretty upset about it, but i guess that is because she is a girl!!!

2nd day of Marysvale

The 2nd day of our little trip, we decided to go for a ride around nap time so the girls might actually sleep! 

Before we left, Alaynna found herself a rock and sat there till we were ready to leave!! 

Grace was casting spells on everything!!! 

And, I dont have a picture of Addison, cause all she was doing is crying to be held!!!!!!

We rode all the way up Bullion and we found some snow!!! We got out to go for a little walk and as soon as we got out, we got back in cause it was FREEZING.....

After we warmed up we found another spot lower down that wasnt as cold to get out and walk around!!!

I told Kyle to stand there with all the girls and while i was taking some pictures he said he wasnt going to smile cause he felt like a widower!!!! I guess next time i will have to bring my tripod so i can be in a picture too!!!

Grace really wanted to have her picture taken by this cabin, but she wouldnt look at me! This is the best one i got!!! 

After we got back from our ride, Kyle decided he was going to cut down a tree that he was worried about falling on the trailer!! 

So after moving the trailer he started to go to work on cutting it down!!! 

You cant really see it, but it is the dead one that is kinda already falling!!!

After getting it cut, it didnt fall all the way down!!! 

But after giving it alittle push, it came down!!!! 

Kyle cut it all up for fire wood cause we were running low at the trailers!!

Grace helped them carry it over to the big pile!!! She thought it was pretty cool that she could lift the "trees"!!

I told her to smile and look at me, and this is what i got...

Grandpa was worried about the tree falling on the trailer too, she he came up to supervise the cutting of the tree!!!

We have decided that coming home at night is the easiest thing to do. So at 7:30, (bedtime) we all loaded up and went on our way!! I made Kyle stop so i could take a few pictures of this awesome rainbow that was outside of Junction. It was like a huge double rainbow, but straight!! 

I love to go to Marysvale so i can see pretty things like this and have it rain on us, and not be stuck in the house all summer long, 

have i told you lately how much i wish we lived in Utah?!?!

Anyways the kids cried all the way home, first Grace cause we were going home and she wanted to stay at the trailer, then they all fell asleep for awhile, then the twins cried, cause they wanted to sleep in their beds!!! 

Hopefully i can foget about this trip before this weekend when we spend all week up there, cause if they are not really nice, like sleep through the night and not cry all day, theres no way i am going to Disney Land,

yep, I am a mean mom!!!!!

Graces other birthday party

Wow, I feel like i am so behind......

So to start off, we went to Marysvale last weekend, Grace really, REALLY wanted a birthday party there. So we left Friday night, I say night because Kyle has been working crazy overtime and like most days lately, he had to work late!!! 

I had sent Grace with Grandma Nancy and Vance earlier that day to spend the day in cedar, and she had SO much fun!!!! 

After our long night of trying to get to our home away from home, we got to the trailer up the mountain and the girls had all been asleep for awhile, so i figured that they would stay asleep, but they didnt!!!

Going places with these 3 kids, especially the twins, without beds/cribs, highchairs, timeout chairs, room to run, house proofed cupboards and drawers, and just not being at OUR home, makes me crazy!!! But that is a post all by itself that will have to wait for another day!!!! 

Needless to say that was a long night of crying and lack of sleeping!!!! 

The morning went alot better!!!!! Kyle took all the girls looking for worms while i got ready for the day! Grace had big plans of going fishing so Kyle told her she needed to find some worms to fish with! 

The twins held her worm holder for her, and they were pretty happy to be outside!!! 

While Dad looked for worms, Grace decided to give up and look for flowers!!! This is her showing me one of the many flowers she picked!!!!

After they had found a few worms, we went and found a calm spot for Grace to fish at!!!

She really enjoyed it, one day we are going to have to go somewhere we can actually catch a fish!!!

While Grace was fishing, me and the little girls were eating yogurt dipped pretzels!!!! All they really wanted to do was get out of the stroller and get in the water!!!

After our fishing trip, we went back to our trailer and had lunch and got ready to go down the mountain to the park for Graces birthday part there!!!! 

She was very excited and it is nice that she has so much family that she gets to have 2 party's!! I was going to make a cake, but i just didnt want to have a heart attack every time we went over a bump or something, so she got to pick one out at the grocery store that she liked!!! She picked out a watermelon cake with ants crawling on it!! 

She wanted to eat watermelon and cantaloupe and so that is what we did!!! She was kinda shy acting, but thats cause she was SO tired!!!! 

She had alot of fun and i was so happy my dad could be there, ive missed him since he left for Idaho.

Grace's 4th Birthday!!!

My baby is 4!!!!!! 

Really this last four years with Grace has went by so fast! 

She has turned into a little girl right before our eyes! 

The other day we were driving home from mesquite and she asked me when she was going to be 16?!?! 

I told her never, she always had to be my little girl, she told me she just wanted to be 16, but she would always live with me and be my little girl, not my baby though!!! 

When it is me, Grace, and the little girls at home, she is so much help, she is my little buddy!

Just lately she has turned a corner and she acts so much nicer, (terrible 2's Horrible, Horrible 3's!!)

All she wanted this year for her birthday was some balloons and a cake as big as Marks!!!! 

So that is what she got, all week while i worked on it she would just smile like a cheese ball and tell me how excited she was!!

We are lucky to have family around that could come to Graces party! 

She got lots of fun new toys, a doll that rides a bike, a camera, a pillow pet, lots of art stuff, a barbie, a cute paper doll and pillow case and a fishing pole with her own tackle box!!!! 

She had so much fun with everyone here, i dont know if she could have had a better party!!! 

Now it is off to Marysvale for her party at the park that she wanted!!!! 

We sure do love our little Grace and our lives are a whole lot louder and better with her in them!!!

The 4th of July

Kyle was on call the 4th of July weekend so we had to stay home, : ' ( we really hate being here in hell on the fun weekends!!!

They did the 4th of July on the 3rd of July down here, so we woke up and ate some yummy blueberry muffins. While the girls were eating i looked at them and how funny they look in their PJ's so i had to get some pictures of them!!!

Addison looks like the spawn of satan here in this picture, but it is just cause when i pull my camera out she runs as fast as she can to "help" me with it!!!! 

Alaynna kinda looks like a little boy in this one, but we love her hairless head and think shes probably the prettiest little "boy" ever!!!

The 4th of July just wouldnt be the same if i didnt make red, blue and white jello with the flag on it!!! 

To bad these are the only picture i got of the whole day! 

We went down the Penn and Nancy's for some BBQ'd hamburgers and we did a few fireworks of our own before the big ones started! 

The girls were all scared of the noisy ones, we have 3 scardy cats for kids!

But we did enjoy watching the fireworks, all the of the girls missed them cause 9:00 is just way past bed time for my kids!!! 

Maybe next year we will be in Marysvale, where we should be for the 4th and the girls will like the fireworks more!!!

one of those days, i mean weeks!!!

I am having "one of those days" that turned into "one of those weeks" so I am posting these pictures to remind myself how lucky i am!!! 

Even if these little devil children wont let me sleep past 6 AM, never let me nap, always leaving a mess behind them, and never giving me a minute to just sit, i still love them!!! 

I love that Grace helps me SO much.

I love that she always tells me she loves me.

I love that she always wants to get ready with me, or help me with whatever i am doing! 

I love that she listens to me, some kids dont listen! 

I love that she loves her sisters! 

I love that when the twins go to sleep she always wants me to rock her or go outside and play with her! 

She is such a good girl, when she goes out on play dates, or even to Grandma's house i miss her! I sometimes think about home schooling just so she doesnt have to leave me, who knows maybe i will be brave and keep her home so she can learn all the things i have to teach her. 

To bad I dont have much to teach her, so i am sure she will be going to public school so she can learn something!!!!

Some days i am certain i am going to suffer a nervous breakdown because of my twins. 

They are good babies, really they are, if i just had to deal with one of them, then maybe 2 years later the other one, they would be perfect normal little girls!! 

I dont think people really get what it is like to have two babies, two one year olds going through that "clingy, needy, never want mama to never leave there side" stage, or the newborn stage where you are the only one who know what to do with these tiny screaming babies. 

It is hard to know what to do when both girls just want you, like when they push each other off my lap so they dont have to share me!!

I need a extra set of arms to love ever one with and to fill bottles at the same time!

Alot of my days are hard, unless you have twins you probably dont understand how hard some days are.

But with all that said, my twins have good moments too, like the other day when they mauled me with kisses! Or when they play peek-a-boo with each other and laugh and laugh!!  

Or when i hold them and they squeeze me tight cause they love to be held by me!!

Or when i find them not asleep cause they are talking back and forth!! 

So maybe tomorrow i will wake up headache and back pain free and a fairy will have came and mopped my floors and sprinkled happy dust all around my home, but probably not!!! 

I will just have to go to sleep telling myself how lucky i am to have happy healthy kids that love me and a husband that not only puts up with me, but loves me too!!!
