Just some pictures and stories!

The other night Grace found my treat drawer! She didnt know that kyle and i were watching her, so she opened the drawer, got the twizzlers out and one by one got every one out of the package! After she had got them all out she opened the drawer again and put the empty bag back away! She thought it was great till i had to take them from her and throw them away!!!
Uncle Luke works down at the ag. farm and so we went down to see all the new baby ducks! There were so many of them, they would just follow each other around, they never got to close to us but there were sure cute!

I was making salsa and Grace is at the age when we have to be touching and she always has to be helping! I love it but it makes things hard to get gone!! So i put her up in her chair by me and gave her some treats, as you can she they mostly get all over her face, but it keeps her happy!!
I had to get a picture of this cause i think it is the first time kyle has mopped the floor!! He had been fixing our celling and got sheet rock powder EVERYWHERE!!! To my surprise her cleaned it all up, i mean he really wiped everything down and then mopped the floor!!! In our house we dont have a real mop, we scrub like cinderella so it gets really clean! He didnt even complain or anything, I love him so much he really helps me with everything!
Trudy the cat has decided that she likes to bath with grace! I really think what happens is grace pulls her into the tub and wont let her out. Either way, she has been in there the last 3 baths, she looks like a bald cat when she gets out!

We have been going out to the reservoir to go swimming lately and Grace is a fish!! Most of you know i dont swim especially where there is a chance that a fish could touch me so it is weird that she love it so much! She is so brave she will walk clear out till it up to her neck then just wait for kyle to take her and swim with her!
Kyle is so cute with Grace, when i see him playing with her it makes me so happy! Grace is a way daddys girl and so she copies everything he does. So he will yell up to me when im not in the water that i'm a baby or something and grace will yell it too then they both laugh!

This was the sunset the other night, i rarely think that it is pretty around here so this picture is proof that every once in awhile it is not that bad here! The summers are really hard for me here, i miss being able to go play out side and sit comfortable and watch the cars go up and down the road. I miss how it cools down at night , the other night i was driving home at 8:30 PM and i passed the water district thermometer and it was still 103!! July i will be spending alot of time in marysvale cause i just cant take the heat! So I am excited to be going but it is so hard to leave your own house for weeks at a time when you have a 2 year old! I will be gone from friday night the till the 7th of July! Kyle has to come back for work for 3 days, i hate it when we are not together but i hate driving those 3 hours down and back! Hopefully we can make it threw the next week without any breakdowns! Im sure i will have lots of pictures when i get back!

Graces first movie

Saturday night Grace went to the movie theater for the first time! We went on a double date with Lauren and Allie to see kung fu panda! I told Grace that we were going to watch a movie and so we had to get ready, after i had got her cleaned up she keep saying "ready, ready" and bringing me movies to watch, she was excited! She had to sit in my lap because shes to little to see over everyone and all the boxes were gone when we got there! She was really good threw the whole thing and when the kitty's started to fight she got all excited and was yelling "kitty no"! Allie didnt quite make it threw the whole movie, she fell asleep! But we had alot of fun and love our dates with the girls!!

So i think i might have passed my obsessive cleaning to my little daughter! Her new favorite toy is a sponge that i wet and she scrubs my walls and floors!!

the weekend..

So this weekend we took Jayden back to his mom and dad, they just met us at the turn to go to panguitch or marysvale. They turned their way and we went ours, off to panguitch for the weekend!
When i was growing up i dont think you could have paid me to go stay in panguitch where it is always at least 10 degrees colder than anywhere around, now i cant wait to go stay up in the cool mountain weather! Every time the temperature down here gets above 100 i always want to move far away to where is cools down at night and where when you want to go out in the mountains you have a 5 minute trip not a 2 hour trip! Kyle got offered a job in panguitch when we were first married and i always wonder why we didnt take it, oh well we are here now. So i guess i just need to get use to the fact that you cant step outside with out sweating and to go for a run you have to wake up before the sun comes up so you dont get heat stroke! Anyways Kyle is on call this weekend so we have to stay here but i think the next we will be going up to where it is cooler!!

This is Grace out to kyles parents land, we were trying to find out where there land is so we can make it usable! We had rode the 4-wheeler out and right before we got to where we were going, Grace threw up all over!! She was sitting in the middle of us so it went down kyles back and all over my leg, we all smelled horrible and had to take showers when we got back! Shes funny, she was sick but you couldnt tell, she got off the 4-wheeler and started running everywhere and posing for us!! I think this picture of her is so pretty, maybe it is just cause she is beautiful!!

When we got home we got all cleaned up and then were all so tired so we were just sitting around, i was in on the computer and kyle was in the living room with grace! This is what happens when you leave games out and dad watching tv!
I brought over all of my moms games to play with Jayden and then had set them out so i could take them back. Grace got every piece out of every game, kyle yells into me " i think you need to come help grace" and this is what i see!!! Kyle still sitting in the same place and grace sitting in the middle of the mess!!

On Thursday we took Jayden into bass pro, he had alot of fun! We ate at in'n out and it was delicious like always!!! Here are a few pictures of the day!

the rest of the week...

On Tuesday Jayden went with my mom to work, he said he had alot of fun and so did my mom, I cleaned the house while he was gone! He came back Wednesday morning and we went to the rec. center over in mesquite with Lauren , Estefan and Allie! We both forgot our cameras but we all had alot of fun, the outdoor pool is really fun! Jayden liked the big water slide and the diving board!
Later that night we went out to the lake to go fishing, Jayden caught the first and only fish of the day, he was pretty happy with it, i tried to put the picture on here but it is having problems!!!

We were eating the rainbow twizzlers and Grace was sharing hers with Josie! She thought it was pretty funny that Josie would try and eat them right from her mouth, i thought it was gross but she kept doing it!

the long trip...

This weekend we finally took our trailer down to Panguitch! We left at 6:00AM and didn't get there till noon, it was a really long trip! The wind was blowing at us at like 100 MPH and we were in slow motion so i think that is why it took so long to get there! When we got there i couldnt believe how cold it was, i was in my shorts and flip flops and had to change into pants and a jacket! I was suppose to go to weddings this weekend but i couldnt bring myself to put Grace back in the truck and drive for another 3 hours. So we just ended up going for a little ride up to kyles parents land looking around! On sunday we got up and rode up to panguitch lake, we were going to fish but it was to cold for grace so we just kinda rode around then went back to the trailer to play with all of her outside toys!
Grace loves to drive with dad, we were looking for deer and she thought it was pretty cool!
We picked up my cousin Jayden to come down and stay with us for the week, i am trying to keep him entertained but it is REALLY hard! We took him down to Roger springs and he thought that was pretty cool with all the little fish in it. He tried to catch them but he never got one!
He waded clear to the middle of it, he didnt think it was as deep as it actually is! It is really clear and you can see to the bottom of it!
Then we took him out to the lake to go fishing and he caught 2 fish, Kyle only caught one!


Grace loves the water! She just sat there picking up rocks looking at them till the sun went down and it got a little cooler!

So here is the cake that was stressing me out so bad last night! It is for a boy that is graduating from mesquite tonight! His mom is getting it for a surprise, she told me she wanted it chocolate and he played football and wrestled 103! I think it turned out really good, there were some icing issues but i got it figured out! She was really happy with it so hopefully she will tell people good stuff about me and i can make a few more cakes! I really need to think of a name so i can make some business cards so if there are any cute names that come to mind please tell me!!
Kyles is feeling better today, his neck looks better and he isnt sore! They went and took picture of where it happened and he said it looked like someone had a wrestling match there! He is so lucky that is didnt do anything worst than it did, someone was watching over him!
Tomorrow i have a date with lauren and then saturday we are off to the mountains in our trailer for the weekend, YEA!!!!!

A little bit of everything..

Well it is really late and i am trying to get a graduation cake i am making done! Cakes are really time consuming, mostly the baking and the waiting for things to set up right! So here are a few more pictures and stories that have been going on.....

Last week me and Grace babysat little Makala! She is such a cutie and so little, she is 2 months old but only weights 8 pounds! I forgot how small babies are, it only made me want another one a little!!! Grace was really good with her till i tried to put the baby in Graces crib to sleep, she did not want the baby in her space! Other than that she loved to look at her and talk to her, shes getting a little bit softer!
Then the other day Grace was off playing and i was checking my email when i hear momma, momma. She kept saying it but wasn't crying and she always is saying it, so i would just yell in Grace. Then i didn't her anything for a little bit just a momma every now and then, i had just been on the computer for a few minutes but when i went to see what she was doing i found her stuck in this! She was fake crying and i thought it was so funny!
We decided to put a little jacket on Trudy, she didnt like it much but i thought she looked cute in it! Grace thought it was hilarious to see her in it, she laughed and laughed!



Grace got her last round of shots till shes in kindergarten on Monday and she doesn't do well with shots! Her poor leg is HUGE swollen, red and hot, she has also had a fever! So with her not feeling good it has made the cake process alot more time consuming!!!
Kyle usually helps me out when i do cakes, cause he knows i love to do it, but he had a little accident today!
He came in from work and just walked straight to the kitchen and then he asked me if i could come and help him in there. I thought it was weird but i just got up to go in there and then i see a huge bandaid on his neck and blood on his shirt! I of coarse started to freak out and cry, thats why he didnt call and tell me when it happened this morning!
They were unloading power poles and just rolling them off the truck into a digger bar. Kyle was for some reason behind the bar when a pole came off the truck and it bounced into the bar and the bar knocked into kyle! It knocked his hard hat off and him to the ground, it scraped his forehead and then really sliced his neck and just scratched from his neck to the middle of his chest. He is really lucky it was not alot worst. It really cut his neck so bad, he should really go get stitches but he is one of those guys that if it is not cut off he wont go! I can always tell when he is really sick or in real pain and today was definitely one of those days. We are so lucky that it did not do anything worst than it did.
Well it is now 1 and hopefully my icing is set up! I will post a picture of this masterpiece tomorrow!!
