Today we went and got the girls their 6 month shots, (ya we are behind)!
Any of you out there with twins know when one cries it is not long before they both cry!!
First if you can believe it, they both weight 19.8 lbs, and they are just about the same height to!!!
After the easy stuff was over, they brought the shots in. Alaynna was being held by dad, so she was first, (he does the holding)! She just cried the saddest cry you have heard, and i about cried and remembered that this is why i am taking my 10 month old's in for their 6 month shots! Addison let out a few cries, but just cause her poor sister was crying! Then we traded babies and they gave Addison hers, Her cries were just as sad as Alaynnas and then they both just cried and cried, i think they were crying more for the other one then themselves!!
After the doctor, we went to Lows for some bricks, and a guy asked, "so how far apart are your babies?" I just looked at him and said,"about a minute".
(I thought of you Shannon!)
He just looked at me surprised, and said "well i had to ask, you never know!"
Moral of this story, dont ask that question to a mom, who has bags and dark circles under her eyes and is pushing two babies in a double stroller that look alike!
It just makes them want to tell you that you are not smart!!!!
Also we had to go to Costco to get diapers, because of
my diaper shower today was the first diapers we had to buy, so a big huge thanks to Nancy for throwing it and to everyone else who gave me diapers, you have no idea how much it has helped!!! And if you want your thank you card there is a stack wrote out and ready sitting in my closet!!
By the way i think that every shopping place needs to have the same size carts as Costco, i would shop there for everything if i could just cause all my kids can be contained to one cart, i love it!!!!
The girls were pretty excited to get home and out of the car seats, they were both on top of the boxes but i couldnt get my camera in time so i got a picture of Addison drinking her bottle....

And i got Alaynna giving me her big cheese ball smile!!
Alaynna's favorite thing right now is peek-a-boo. She learned how to cover her eye and the side of her head, and she makes the boo noise, i love it!! She also waves, well she throws her hand up in the air and smiles!!
Addison really was enjoying her dinner, as soon as i would get some mac and cheese in her mouth she would spit it out and throw her hands up and laugh!!
They were acting so cute tonight so i hope the shots dont bother them this time!!!
