We love to go to Disneyland to do the Halloween party.
I went back and forth on doing it this year cause of all the crap that has been going on, but I figured we needed it, so I picked the best day of October and we went!
We decided to go down on Sunday so we wouldn't be rushed and could just hang out.
We left at the crack of dawn so we could maybe miss traffic.
The ride down wasn't bad at all. We couldn't check into the hotel room when we got there so we decided to go shopping at the mall down the road and find lunch.
The girls picked Johnny Rockets. They all shared an apple pie shake and thought that was pretty fun!
After shopping for a little bit we decided to ride around and see what there was close by.
We found the coolest farmer market!
We got us some fresh berries and Kyle got some kiwis! We had alot of fun walking around and looking at all the cool things they had there.
After we checked in, the girls decided they needed to swim. So I made Kyle get in with them, it was to cold for me.
After swimming, we decided to walk back down to the mall and wait for Kaden, Laura, and the girls to meet us at Bubba Gumps for dinner.
It was really good, but the service really sucked. The girls thought it was fun, and me and Kyle ate so much shrimp. After dinner we walked over to Cheesecake factory for dessert!
Monday we woke up, got ready, went to breakfast, then went and found me a chai tea. We didn't have a plan other than to walk over to downtown Disney for lunch.
The girls didn't understand that the party didnt start till 3, it was a long day of waiting!
Our hotel is really close to Disneyland, if you take the short cut through the Grand Hotel.
Man, when I hit the lottery we are staying there, beautiful!
We had fun looking at all the stores at downtown Disney.
We went over and were the first ones in line so as soon as they opened the gates we could go in.
The girls looked SO cute, I got lots of complements on the costumes, it made the 20 hours of work worth it. There was a few people who stopped us so they could take a picture of them, so yes there are strangers out there with my children's picture!
While we were standing in line a Disney worker gave the girls honorary Disneyland citizen pins, they thought it was pretty cool!
We didn't go through many trick or treat lines, but we walked on to every ride pretty much!
It was really busy, but most of the people were trick or treating not the rides so it worked out great for us. We rode Thunder Railroad this time and the girls were so scared but they loved it!
Next year we are going again, but we will go at the beginning of October!
The girls favorite rides were Dumbo, The Rockets, and Thunder Railroad!
