Christmas

Christmas was great this year, even if there was no snow!!!

For Christmas Eve Me, Jerrica, and Jakell made some lasagna dinner. My mom and her boyfriend came over, and we opened up some presents, ate, and sat around and watched Grace go 100 miles a hour. When my mom came in she was carrying a bag that was meowing and moving, it was Graces presents!!! 2 new kitty's, yes, the cat killers have cats again!
Hopefully these ones stick around cause they are good and keep Grace entertained!! At first Grace Named them Jakell and Trueitt, i told her she needed to think of some different names so she came up with Fez and Kelso!!
That was their names for awhile but then Grace changed them again to Jack and Jill, i guess we will stick with them cause they are the easiest!!

After dinner at my house, Kyle, Me and the girls went down to Nancy and Penns to eat again!! We again watched Grace go 100 mile, i swear she didnt stop running or talking till she passed out on the way home!!

Christmas morning we had to wake Grace up at 8 o'clock!! We opened up presents,
a barbie,
a bow and arrow,
lots of clothes
and then Grace went to let Josie in from out front and she found
a play house Santa left her!!
She ran out in her Pj's to check it out and she loved it, she turned around and asked "is this little house for me?"

After eating our traditional sticky bun breakfast we got ready and we went down to Nancy and Penns to talk to Vance, he sounds great and it wont be long before he is home!! We opened up some presents and then came home for just a minute and then we were off to Ron and Joyces!!
We ate more food, talked to family, and Grace got to hit the pinata! She had alot of fun down there!!
After being there, we went over to my Dads! We ate more, talked more and opened up more presents!!

It was a great Christmas and we were really lucky to see everywhere that we did and we missed the ones we didnt get to see!

Jerrica and Joeys visit!

I didnt get a whole lot of pictures, but Jerrica and Joey came for a week for Christmas, it was so nice to have them home! Grace was especially happy for Jerrica to be here, She loves to be with her!

Alaynna and Addison on the other hand loved it that Joey was here!! They, especially Alaynna, loved him!
Jerrica and I were slaving away in the kitchen on a pumpkin roll, (that turned out perfect!) so i made Joey be in charge of all the kids and he did a really good job!! He let the twins just crawl all over him, he took a nap with them, fed them bottles, he was a great babysitter!!

When we were busy in the kitchen, Grace came in with a present that had been under the tree for a few days. She knew it was hers and picked it up a few times, but this time she shook it and pulled a little paper down! She just screams, "mom, its a snuggy! Its a snuggy, mom!!" She was so excited, but the present wasnt even a snuggie, it was a hopper from Lauren and Allie!! I guess for her B-day we are going to have to get her another snuggy!!!

While Jerrica was here we went to dinner, done some shopping, played the wii, and just ate way to much food and sat around, it was nice!! Hopefully they get to come home for a week again soon!

Grace first recital

Grace had her first dance recital and she did SO good!! Everyday after class i would ask her what she learned and she would show me a few things but i never knew she knew a dance! She was pretty excited and when we found out what day it was we called Grandmas and Grandpas and Jakell and Jerrica! She was excited to tell everyone and when the day finally got there she couldnt wait!
They were "sleeping girls" so they danced in there PJ's! Grace did really good and if she forgot she would look over at her teacher and she would know what to do!!

When i got the note that Grace was having her first recital i felt old, am i really old enough to have a daughter that is in dance class and having recitals?! I guess i am but i still feel like Grace should just be my little baby girl !!

eating muffins

Grace has been on a muffin kick, she loves to help me make them and then loves to eat them and the twins love to eat anything!
While picking up the house Grace asked to eat a muffin, then she asked to give "just a tiny bit to the sisters", then this is what i walked into!!! All the girls using the chair as a table eating away at the muffins!! It was everywhere but everyone was happy and dirty so i let them eat it!!

8 months

This is the twins at 8 months, i am just a little late!!
They are both crawling EVERYWHERE and pulling themselves up! They are into everything and they are so much fun!
Grace LOVES them and they love her, they all 3 will play in Graces room together for a few minutes and it is nice!
Twins are hard, sometime i feel like i dont give them enough one on one attention but then i think back threw my day and well, i do good with what time i have!!
We are coming up on one year old for these two and to be honest i dont know where the time has gone and i dont remember a whole lot of things that have happened, so if it is not been wrote in this blog, i will probably never remember it!! Maybe that is a good thing, there has been a few days this past year that i will be glad to forget!!
But with all the sleepless nights, spit up, dirty diapers, dirty clothes, dirty house, dirty cause of no shower, I am happy, there is nothing better than a day at home with kyle and all our girls!!

a ride to the snow

When it got cold here i was so happy, i love winter when it is cold, snowy and white. But i live in the desert, or hell what ever you want to call it, so it is cold and not snowy or white so i get a little sad and kyle tried to make me happy by taking me to the "snow"! We loaded all the girls up and drove for 45 minutes to the snow! There was not a whole lot there but it did make me happier!!The little girls and i stayed in the truck for the most part, but i did get out to take a few pictures. Grace and Kyle went for a little walk and Grace was happy to see the snow, but she really wanted to make a snow man, maybe when we go see real snow in real mountains!!
