the rest of the week

I thought i had a few more posts to do about our vacation, but i didnt get many more pictures so this will be the last one!

Wednesday we just hung out in Marysvale and did laundry, took baths and showers, and just let the girls run! While us girls were in Marysvale hanging out Kyle went for a ride up Beaver Mountain and he has a panoramic setting and so he thought he better learn how to use it and got these pictures.

On Thursday we got up went for a little walk and a little ride then decided a Cherry Fresh Lime from
Sandys was what we wanted.
So off to Richfield we went again.
We didnt do much, got a few new movies from the redbox, ate lunch and drank our Cherry Fresh Limes.
After not sleeping for 6 nights i was really tired and had a really bad head ache so we went back to the trailer and i slept while it rained and Kyle watched the girls!

Friday morning Kyle got up and went for another little ride and i packed up things for Fish Lake. Neither one of us wanted to go, we were ready to be home. But we went anyways and got up there got checked into our cabin and they had moved us from where we thought we would be.
The cabins were horrible.
We had planned on having a fridge, stove, sink, but had none. After the week we had we just decided to go home!
It was nice to be in nicer weather, but the twins are just at a bad age to have in the mountains camping for a week.
Maybe next year it will go better, but neither Kyle or i see another long camping trip in our near future!

More of Marysvale

Monday

Monday we went shopping for food for the rest of the week, and you know those moms that just let their kids run wild, i am usually not one of them, but that day i was!
I didnt take one picture that day!
We went shopping in Richfield, when we were to the canyon there were cops sitting there not letting anyone threw cause there was a mud slide so we went on the back roads!
After we got to the trailer it rained the rest of the day so we hung out in the trailer and watched movies in the dvd player we bought!

Tuesday

We decided that a week in Marysvale wouldnt be the same if we didnt go fishing up at Barney Lake.
So we loaded everything we would need for the day and went.

It rained for awhile and it was kinda cold, but it was nice.
That is for sure my favorite place on earth.
When we got to the road to go to the lake there was a big tree in the way.

But Kyle being such a manly man, just hooked a chain up to it and moved it with his truck and...

his muscles!!!
(haha)

By the time Tuesday came all three of the girls were sick! But we pretended they werent and drug them everywhere.

After some juice and a hotdog the girls started to feel a little better and were using the cooler and everything inside of it for toys!

Kyle and Grace sat up there fishing poles!

And Addison went threw the tackle boxes!

Grace developed a attitude problem while we were there and this is her "duh" look.
She acts like a 13 year old, pretty sure i have alot of grey hair!!!

Since I am the fisher women of the family i was the only one that caught a fish, and it was a beautiful 18 inch tiger trout!!!

Even though the girls were sick and kinda mean and cried alot, alot, i was a fun good day!!!

Sunday at the round church with the Leavitts

On Sunday morning, after the girls didn't sleep AT ALL, we got up and went for a ride with Penn, Nancy, Vance, Luke, Kaden, Laura, and the dogs.

We went up Bullion mountain and down Cotton Wood Canyon, it was a fun ride and really pretty. We stopped a few times just to get out and take a few pictures and to have lunch. While we were eating and standing around talking they found some billy goats to look at, they really just looked like whitish/grey rocks, but Kyles really into the mountain goats this year, that's his "once in a lifetime" hunt this year.

Here are a few pictures i took, not one of a person, but that's how it goes.

I cant really read the name, but somebody Peters carved his name in it on July 27, 1929.

Down Cottonwood there were a million raspberries, we stopped and picked a few.
We were going to go back up and pick more, but raspberry's by the water in thick trees, usually means bears so i was good on going back up there.

After our ride we stopped and seen my dad and Grandpa and Grandma for awhile and to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to one of my little sisters, Jerrica, who turned 22!!
After talking to everybody we headed back up to the trailer for dinner and to just hang out.
While i was cooking dinner and getting things cleaned up we had a visitor outside our trailer.

She must live right there close cause we seen her about everyday.

By the time we got to the trailer Graces nose was running and she was really tired, 3 sick kids in a trailer up the mountain, not fun!

Besides being sick the girls were already dirty and needed a bath!

The kids didn't sleep Sunday night, again.
Sick kids are no fun.

The 24th

We decided that we were going to be brave and stay a whole week in Marysvale cause we were going to be there for the 24th and then the next weekend, (this last one) we would be in Fish Lake!
Well....... Alaynna, who i thought was just getting teeth, ended up being sick and then Grace got it, then Addison!! So it was more like the week from hell and we didnt even make it to fish lake, but here are some pictures with the stories of our week in Marysvale.....

We left on Friday and I packed all day, I packed 5 people for 9 days, and not just any 5 people, but 3 kids who need diapers, wet wipes, bottles, prune juice, special pillows, and 15 shirts each cause they like to roll in the dirt, just to name a few things!
Needless to say there was alot to pack so i knew i was bound to forget something! So after Kyle gets home we loaded everything up and i just felt like i was forgetting something, but i just couldnt figure out what it was,
till we were alittle past St. George, then i realized I forgot all the cameras!!!!
So after some calling around and both Kyle and I having anxiety attacks Jakell was nice enough to come get the cameras and bring them to the wonderful Lauren and Dustin who were on there way to Utah to! Luckily they brought our cameras to Cedar and saved the day, Thanks again!!

So now with our cameras in hand we were off. After thinking about it for awhile i decided instead of trying to get off the mountain from the trailer, clean and on time for the parade, i would just stay at my grandmas where there are showers, hot water, and a real bed!
But i didnt get to sleep in that real bed much cause i got sick and Alaynna started her sickness the first night also!!!
But we woke up happy and ready for the 24th fun!!

Terrie was in charge of the parade this year and she had said she was worried that it wasnt going to be good, but it was one of the longer better parades in a long time! All the Leavitt side came down for the day too, so we all watched it at my grandma and grandpas!!

It took Addison and Alaynna a few minutes to get into picking up the candy, but Grandma Nancy and Aunt Laura helped them!!

Grace was acting shy, i think it was cause there were 3 grandmas in one place and she didnt know what to do, but after a minute she warmed up and started picking up the candy!

After the parade we went down to the little kid games!
When I was little, it seemed like we would always get into a water fight! I have good memories of the 24th of July, it is probably my favorite holiday!
This year it seemed like there were about a million people. I think that it should be a rule that if you havent lived there for more than half your life or at least have family there, you shouldnt be able to visit there, but thats a different post!!
Anyways, Grace had alot of fun, she got to play a few games and got a purple glittery ball that she still loves!!!

Addison came around to the games with me, Grandma, and Laura!

Since Alaynna wasnt feeling that great she was with Kyle in the corner with all the rest of the Leavitt's, Leavitts in a corner by themselves, imagine that!!!
Good thing I am usually right there in the corner with them too!!

After the games, we all went up the mountain to have lunch at the trailer.
Grace, Luke, Kaden, and Laura also did a little fishing and caught a few little fish!

We had to go back down the mountain for Kyles favorite thing about the 24th, the fish rodeo!!!
I dont like to have fish swimming around my feet, but i go in so i can see the girls.
This year Penn and Vance came in to help hold the girls while me and Laura tried to get a few pictures!
Grace was a little more into it and the twins just liked it cause there was water to splash in!!

Vance got to hold Alaynna and he is also single, and going to SUU this year, I am just saying another sister in law might be fun! ; )

Grandpa and Grace caught this fish, but when Grandpa let Grace hold him, he got away!!

But no worries cause Vance caught this one for Grace!

Grace really liked this fish, she named him Paco the fish!!!

The 24th was fun, it is every year, i cant wait for next year when the twins can enjoy it a little more!!
