Kyles Birthday

Kyle turned 27 this year, he is getting up there, soon we will be throwing him a over the hill party.
He is pretty hard to buy for, so this year i just let him pick out what he wanted. Of course he wanted something to do with hunting, so we picked him out a target! 

Not only did Kyle get a nice present, the girls played in the box for a day or two!

For Kyles birthday growing  up he always had hamburgers, french fries, and milkshakes!
The past few years we have changed it up and had all kinds of new things.
This year Kyle decided we should have a fiesta! I made us some carne asada, salsa, pico de gallo, key lime pie, and some tres leches cake! It was really good, especially the key lime pie if i dont say so myself!
We had alot of fun and were happy that family could come and spend a few hours with us!

Bugs

The girls, especially Grace, really love bugs.
Kyle found Grace this hairy caterpillar and she just thought it was so cool! Her favorite thing to do is to go bug hunting, that was also mine favorite thing when i was little, but now bugs just freak me out so she gets to keep them outside far away from me!

We had to take Addison to the doctor so we thought to make the day a little funner we would eat some wendy's in the back of the truck and get us some lady bugs to take home!

Grace was so excited to get home and let all the bug crawl all over her! and oh boy she did let them crawl all over!

Addison and Alaynna werent all that thrilled to have them crawl up there arms and had freak outs when the ladybugs would touch them.

Addison calls them babies and after awhile she came around to having them crawl up her arm, but she still gets a little freaked out and half the time just smashes them!

Alaynna still just likes to look at them, but that doesnt mean she doesnt try and chase them down! 

The lady bugs will defiantly be a tradition here at the Leavitt home, it is alot of fun to watch the girls go crazy and then to have a ton of lady bugs around the yard!

The yard sale picnic

A few weeks ago was the valley wide yard sale, I am no yard saler, they are to early, i already have enough junk that has no place, i dont need more and I can never seem to find the awesome deals, but me and my Grandma loaded up and went to see every ones junk!!
There was some good stuff and some stuff that belonged in the trash, but ones man trash anothers man treasure, right!

I did find this picnic set that i thought would be perfect for the girls to play with outside. They loved it and had to have there lunch on the plates, bowls, and cups!

Stickers

 The girls got ahold of the sticker book the other day, they thought it was alot of fun to put stickers all over themselves.

They even covered the poor "kitty" in stickers!!!!
Maybe if they were alittle meaner to the "kitty" and pugzlee we wouldnt have to dog sit?!?

getting warm!

When it started to warm up i couldnt keep the girls inside. As soon as we are ready for the day we go out and play and when Grace gets home from school we are right back out! One of the favorite things to do is play in the dog water, since i have more kids than hands i usually just let them play and dump the water everywhere!

Alaynna really likes to drink the water, and since she still loves to eat sand, she usually needs the dog water to wash the dirt down!

Addison has reached her terrible horrible 2's. When she doesnt get what she wants she throws a fit, when she doesnt get what she wants right when she wants it, she throws a fit, she just pretty much throws fits all the time!

Grace is also going threw a "phase". Hopefully her whining and crying stops soon or i might be grey by the time I am 25!

But even threw the fits, I love my girls and try and remember the good days and the sweet things they do!

Flowers and Grace

 Our daffodils bloomed when it was warmer this month and they looked so pretty I had to get some pictures of them.
 Here are a few of the ones that I thought turned out good...

Grace thinks that if I get my camera out that she needs hers out too, she was trying to "get the light right" in this one!! She is so crazy and comes up with the craziest things, I love it!
