My computer has been running super slow and so it has taken me a long time to get a post up, like I tell Kyle 50 times a day, I need a new laptop!!!
Here are a few pictures from the Leavitt home.....
We, and when I say we I mean Kyle, built some boxes for asparagus! He has become a wonderful gardener and we have all kinds of vegetables growing around the house!
This is the finished project, after i painted it barn red.
Getting ready for bedtime has turned into a task! The twins are at that age when they want to be independent but cant do everything they want to by themselves!
They insist on picking out PJ's and putting them on all by themselves.
Sometime i get them in Pj's that fit and other times they are in Graces dance clothes, or a few layers of Graces clothes.
I have learned to pick my battles, and this is just not one i can win!
Kyle was painting the bathroom doors and the girls really like to go and destroy the bathroom when they can so his solution was to tape the door off,
can you guess how long that lasted?!
The weather here has been crazy, nice one day and then freezing the next!
So when the wind isn't blowing we go play outside!
On Valentines day morning "someone" kicked us a valentine.
After we got the clothes and stuff from the doorstep Grace said
"mom, who do you think gave this to us? It must be someone who really loves us, right?"
I said, "ya, It probably was someone who loves you alot!"
A few minutes later she said.......
"MOM, I got it, it was that little guy that shoots you with a arrow, you know cupid. He shot me with a arrow and then left those!"
I just laughed and said "ya it probably was, Crazy!"
Grace had been waiting for "a cupid" to come again, so when we got a knock at the door she was SO excited! We went to the door and it was just Kyle needing my car keys.
She said, " I was really thinking that it was someone cool, Dad is not that cool. He doesnt fly or do anything cool!! HAHA
Trueitt is 2!!
It is really hard for me to come up with cake ideas for little boys. All I know is pink and butterflies, but i came up with this cake idea for Trueitt and it turned out pretty cute!
We also got him this Donkey Kong and he loved it!
Jakell got him a cool car, but i really think she got it for herself!
We had fun trying it out and True and the girls all really thought it was cool!
Before we could sing happy birthday to True, he took a HUGE bit out of the cake!
He thought the whole thing was for him and he was a little upset when i started cutting some for everyone!! We were happy we got to spend a little while with him on his birthday, he is so big and it doesnt seem like 2 years ago he was just a newborn baby!
Last but not least,
Addison had been a little sick, but really when is someone not sick at my home!!

a crappy week, with no pictures
This week has been crappy,
i like to keep my blog G rated or i may have used a different word to describe it!
More than anything I think it has just been a long, slow, filled with not so great news, week.
Kyle has been sick, real sick, with not just the flu , the man flu!
He, like every other man in this world, is a big baby when he is sick, I pretty much waited on him hand and foot and that made for a very long week. But next time i am sick he said he would do all my cooking, cleaning, and taking care of kids and home for me while i sleep,
I will hold him to it!
Now poor Grace is not feeling good tonight,
i swear we will get this sickness out of our home,
someday!
I also have had horrible migraines this week that landed me in bed, good think i have well behaved kids that let me lay around for awhile!
I got bittersweet news, My dad is getting remarried. I never really dealt with my parents getting a divorce and since i am "a big girl" you'd think I would be able to take this kind of news and just roll with it, but it is weird! Anyone out there with parents who are divorced can related to what i am saying. I guess i always just figured that they would get back together someday, and now i know they arent.
But i have been told by numerous people that love me, to roll with the punches,
So i am rolling,
at least trying!!
But no matter how crappy of a week I have had,
I have healthy, happy kids who love me and I love them,
I have a wonderful man that is my partner and the love of my life,
I have plenty of friends and family who I can count on and that love and support me,
And overall my life isnt to shabby, I am happy and next week is a new week and it will be a good one!
Cancer has for some reason been effecting alot of people around me,
too much lately.
I think we all have someone that we know that has been effected by "it".
I had to go to the doctor awhile ago and there was a women who wasnt much older than me and she had 2 little girls, one about 5 and the other one was 6 month old.
She had scars on her chest, and she had no hair. She had been told, not long ago that she was cancer free.
But as I looked at her I couldnt help but think of the hell she had gone through and all the other people that have had to go through that same hell.
Cancer is scary and I pray that they find a cure for it.
But until they do find a cure for it, Please keep these family in your prayers who are dealing with this right now...

brrrrrrr, its cold outside!
This horrible weather has made me feel really unproductive and just want to stay in bed all day under the covers! I use to really want to move "home" to Utah, to Marysvale, but after these past few days I truly know i wouldn't last there, I have about died this week!!!
With that said my children have also had cabin fever and have been driving me nutty!!!
The twins have for sure hit the terrible 2's, they are biting, hitting, always wanting to be independent, but not quite old enough to be independent, and into everything!
Alaynna woke me up in the middle of the night crying, it was the hurt cry so i got up and ran down and got her, but i couldnt figure out why she was crying, so i laid her back down. In the morning when i went to get them out of bed I seen her eye was black and blue!!!!! She tried to tell me what happened, but all i got was her eye hurt!
Poor girl, it is finally looking better!
I had to put pictures of how beautiful our bathroom is looking, I have a floor, a toilet, and a vanity!!!
Now i just need a sink and the finishing touches!
We still have alot to do, but we have the big things out of the way!!
We also repainted the laundry room, the first color was to fleshy, like alot of pink in it and so we went for a real dark brown and i love it. I cant wait till all of it is done and we can move on to our next project!
Grace was so happy that she has a toilet in her bathroom, she wanted a pink one but she was ok with the white one!!
This was before it turned into the north pole here.
I think that is why it seems so cold, we were out in our summer dresses and then the next day we were in layers and had the heat cranked up and didnt leave the house!
Good thing this weekend will be back up to 70, maybe we can all unthaw by then!
Our broccoli and cauliflower got replaced with onions. We got a late start on it and since neither kyle or i are all that patient we decided instead of just waiting it out we would just rip it up and start fresh!
Our peas are looking awesome and hopefully still are alive!
I made real mashed potatoes for dinner and Alaynna had about 5 helping, I thought she had enough!
I walked out of the room and she pushed her chair over, pulled the bowl to her and ate all that was left!
Tonight i thought i would make some homemade taquitos, they didnt take long, but they required some work.
So while i was busy stuffing, rolling, and baking, my kids were busy spilling my pepsi, Grace cut her hair, but only a little cause she wanted to see what it wold look like short, (ahhhhhhhh), and choking on cough drops that the twins found. All the while destroying my clean home!!!
Then after all my hard work none of the girls would eat them, but me and Kyle enjoyed them.
Because i didnt want them starving, I threw some poptarts on the table!! And they all scrame, "treats, treats!!!!"
I told Kyle, "this is why i shouldnt waist my time with cooking or cleaning, they would be happy with cereal and poptarts for breakfast, lunch and dinner!"

Catch up
It has been awhile since i last posted,
my computer got a virus and was at the computer doctor for a few days,
i have been busy making cakes,
theses cakes........
And my crazy kids and i have had a nasty cold!
Now if we could just get the cold out of our home, life would be super swell again!
We havent been up to much of anything beside the every day stuff and the bathroom/laundry room project!
So I have no cool stories, just pictures and the few things that have been happening around the house!
Jakell,went swimming, got baptized awhile ago, she is probably going to kill me when she see's I put this picture up but Kyle told me to do it anyways!
We told Grace we were going to watch Jakell swim, she was a little disappointed when all they did was dunk her in!
Grace went to Abby's birthday party and it was pretty much the highlight of her week! They made cookies and she thought hers looked pretty great, one was for me and the other one was for her to share with the twins!
We also had a neighborhood play date! It was pretty fun there were a ton of kids and they just ran,
Played with sand,
Jumped on the trampoline,
and ate cookies!
Next time we will have to coordinate better and have snacks and the whole thing!
Grace has been spending alot of time in time out lately. Wow, she is at a hard age or maybe just at a hard stage, i dont know, but it is hard!!!
She has been being so mean to the twins, she "on accident" bit Addison while trying to kiss her and "on accident" pinched Alaynna while trying to hug her.
She catches on to everything to, you cant say or do anything without her noticing!
I was having a bad day and must have been snappy because i had been asked 2.4 million questions in a 3 hour time frame, so on the way to taking her to school, she asked me,
" Why do you have a mean voice today mom? It is kinda sad, but kinda mad sounding, why is it like that?"
Then i just started to laugh and told her i would try and find my happy voice and after silence for 2 hours and a little nap i found a happier voice!
The weather is so wonderful right now that we had to go play outside for a minute before we went to pick up Grace!
All my girls love it outside, they really love to throw sand around and get all dirty!
It was cooler outside and it was even really cold there for a few days, so it has kinda messed up our Garden!
But we cut the broccoli down so hopefully it will start doing good and here in a few weeks we really are going to have a million peas, I am quite excited!
Grandma Helen sent down late Christmas presents, when the girls opened them you would have thought it was a million dollars, they scrame and yelled and laughed and was just as happy as 3 little girls could be!
They have wore there princess hill pretty much since they opened them, now all you hear is the clank clank of hill running around the house!
Thats it from this Leavitt home, we got the tile all done and the washer and dryer moved back in and Kyle even got the vanity in the bathroom today while i was out grocery shopping!
I will be posting picture of that, cause i am pretty happy over having a floor in the bathroom after 3 years!!!!!!!
