The Birthday

For Addison and Alaynna's 1st birthday, we had a party on Saturday with all the family, (kaden, laura, and vance couldnt be there and we missed them)!! We had pizza and cake, the cake was the twins favorite part!!! 

This is the cake before we ate it, i thought it turn out great and the girls each got their own cake, Grace had to share her's, but i told her that the big one was her's so she would feel left out!!! 

This is while we sang "happy birthday"

Alaynna really liked the look of the cake!!

So did Addison, she took a little piece of the grass while we were singing!

Addison would pick up a hand full and calmly eat it, kinda lady like but in the messy 1 year old way!!
She liked it and when i thought they had enough i took the cake away, she got so so so mad at me, you can she her having a fit in one of the pictures!!!

There was nothing lady like about the way Alaynna ate her cake!!!
She first just stuck her face in the cake to get a big bite, then started grabbing 2 hand fulls and shoving them in her mouth at the same time, like a wild animal that hadnt ate in a month!!!
She had cake head to toe, she just ate and ate and ate, that girl loves cake!!!

Grace also enjoyed her huge piece of cake!

Trueitt was feeling left out of all the cake eating, so Nancy put him up to see Alaynna's cake. She was trying to share with him and got some on his arm, he just looked at his mom disgusted with it!!

The girls got a lot of fun things, they got spoiled!!!
This year they got car seats from me and kyle, not to fun, but they needed them!!!
Grace got to go shopping with Aunt Jakell for the girls, i gave her $20 to spend on them. At first she told me she was going to get them a tea set, cause she needed a new one!!
Then she decided maybe a robot would be better, then danced like a robot!!
 She didnt get either, she decided on a blow up swimming pool with a slide!!! Hopefully this week we can set it up and put the twins in their new swimming suits from Grandma Merri and take a dip in it!!!!
They got lots of clothes from Jerr and Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Penn and new shoes!!!
Grandma Nancy also gave them this wonderful ball thing, it throws the balls out of the top, all the kids loved it!!!
Jakell got them huge dolls to match Graces and these big puzzle foam things, Joey like them better than the girls!!
They got a lot of other things too, they really did get spoiled!!
We loved having everyone over and were so happy Jerrica and Joey got to come, ( we miss her, them like crazy!!)
But this weekend wore me out so i am glad birthdays only come once a year!!!
