It has been one year and one day since i have slept, (since we found out we were having twins)!!!

First i was stressed, then i was uncomfortable, then i had 3 kids, thats why i have dark circles and am always crazy!!!

The past few weeks

These two LOVE Grace, she was playing peek-a-boo with them and they were laughing so hard! She can make them laugh pretty much all the time and even though some days i get at my wits end with her she is alot of help! I dont know if it is the horrible 3's kicking in or what but the past few weeks she has been difficult, talking back and always needing me to do something for her, hopefully she gets back to being herself, f a s t!!!

We went to the festival of trees the other night to see Santa, but Grace was pretty impressed with the donkey too! It would bump her with his nose and she would get a little scared, but she pet him and now thinks we need a donkey in the back yard!

She sat on Santa's lap with no crying, but not real happy either! She asked him for a Barbie, That is what she has wanted for about 2 months now. For awhile she wanted a duck and bear but i got her talked out of that so now she would like a barbie, a purple shirt and socks, quite a difference!!

All of the kids love to play, Trueitt follows Grace, Addison follows Trueitt, and Alaynna follows Addison!

Penn got his sheep, it is a really nice one, (well kyle says and i'lll take his word on it!)! I personally think any dead animal that is not kyles is just fine, but Penn was happy and Kyle was just as happy so that make me happy!!!

This was the finished product of the cake, it didnt fall over and it looked nice so i am happy with it! The night the reception was over was the first night that week i slept good. Making wedding cake is a stressful thing, i think for now, (till all my kids are a little older), i will just stick to making birthday cakes!! I had to make Jakell come get all the girls for a few hours everyday so i could get it done without having to get bottles, juice, diapers, and everything else the kids need, what am i going to do when Jakell leave me?!?

This is what i have been doing all week! I am so glad it is done, i just have to set it up tomorrow and RI a few more pearls on it!

Double trouble or Double Fun

Twins are.....

40 fingers and toes.
Double the diapers.
Double the formula.
Double no sleep.
Double the crying.
Double the laughing.
Double the cleaning.
But
Double the fun and cuteness too!

Have you ever seen a 7 month old with a "Ghetto Booty"??

Because i have a dog, a 3 year old, and 2 almost 8 month olds, I vacuum every morning! The Twins love it, they follow me around and try and touch the vacuum and then run from it, it make cleaning funner with the kids!!

Advent Box

December 1st means it is Christmas time here in this house and everyday we get to open up a present! This year i decided Grace (and Kyle) would be old enough to read a story, scripture, and sing a song, so i got the book that Nancy made me out and decided we would make it a tradition. This is how that few minutes went.....

Me. "turn the TV off so we can read a story"
Grace. "Yea" turns tv off
Me. "the gift of the Maji..."
Kyle. "thats not how you say it"
Me. "if you dont like the way i am saying it read it yourself" Then continued on with the story.
Grace. "what does that mean?"
Me. "Kyle dont throw stuff at Grace. Grace ummmm... I dont know" Then i tried explaining.
and tried to continue on with the story.
Grace. "I have a story, yesterday......."
Me. with a defeated look, "Grace so you just want to open the present?"
Grace. "YEAH"
Kyle. "hahahahahahahahahah"

So maybe next year i will try to do this again and maybe my 3 kids and 1 big kid will be as excited about it as me!!

This is why i can not get into the Christmas spirit... We play outside in shirts, it is not even cold enough for jackets some days and it is not very pretty here, that is nicely put. It is this time of year when i really want to move, i still can not get use to Nevada, I miss Utah! I am very thankful for Kyles job, but it would be nice if they could just transfer him to Utah!! Needless to say, i still hate it here and want to move back to utah where it snows and is freezing!

But because it is December and we have a 3 year old who is SO excited for Christmas, we pulled out all the Christmas stuff and put it up! Grace had alot of fun and kept telling us how excited she was, she does make the holidays alot funner!!


I made Kyle put the tree up and he did a great job of taking orders from me! He got out the tape measurer and made sure everything was right in the center and level. I told him to just eye ball it and he told me that when he does that he has to change it 50 times cause i am obsessive and he is right, only he could put up with my crazyness and i love him for it!


The Twins have been a little on the crying, sad, not sleeping side and i couldnt decide if they were getting sick or just getting teeth, but yesterday Alaynnas bottom tooth came out! They are still not their happy little selfs so i am thinking there will be somemore teeth coming through!


Kyle decided he better get me out of this house before i went crazy, so we went up to look for sheep! It really wasnt my idea of a night out but it ended up being fun, sometimes i forget that i like to be out in the world! We went and had a chicken fried steak out at the Moapa Grill, and it was pretty good, i love it when we just get to go out with the 2 of us, it makes me miss the kids, a little!
