Christmas Time

We've finally got some of our house done, the wood floors are in and the carpet in both rooms is done! There it only little things to finish up in that part of the house! It is so nice to have Grace in her room with a real bed again, she sleeps so much better and loves sleeping in her big girl bed!

This is what i moved out of both rooms for the carpet guys!!! We sure have alot of crap stuffed in these two rooms, now it is all nicely organized and not strung all over my house!!!

Here is Kyle finishing up the floors, they look so good and he did such a good job with all of the little jobs that he has done! Anytime Grace finds something broke she always says that her daddy will fix it!!

For the 4 Christmases we have had together we have got 4 Christmas tree tags and not one year have we used them!! The first 2 years we just went to a tree lot, last year we didnt even get a tree and this year we borrowed a fake tree from a friend!!! After Christmas i am going to buy us a nice 8 foot skinny tree that we can set up on thanksgiving and take down on new years with no mess!!! We are both excited for that day to come!! Our tree turned out to be pretty enough and Grace has helped me decorate and redecorate it so it has been fine for this year!! You can see how good the floors look to in this picture too!!
On Saturday Luke came down to have dinner with us and then we decided to make a gingerbread house!!! It was alot of fun doing it but with Grace decorating it, it made it alot more fun!! She ate more candy than she put on and Luke helped her, he is so fun, i love when he comes down!!! Kyle was helping but then this is where he ended up, home alone came on and that was the last we seen of him!! This is the finished project, there are little teeth marks in all of the trees and lots of candy missing!! Grace really enjoyed making it so that will definitely be apart of every Christmas!!
