Christmas morning

Christmas morning I woke up early to shower and get ready, I thought for sure Grace would be busting threw the door at any second, but I got in the shower, out and all ready for the day and even fell back asleep for awhile.
At 6:45 I Went to see why Grace picked Christmas morning of all the mornings to sleep in, and I found her wide awake in bed!
I asked her why in the world she didnt come out and she said she thought she heard Santa and didnt want to make him leave, she is a nut!
As soon as her and the twin came out to see what Santa had left it was chaos.
They had so much fun, we just took our time and enjoyed seeing them happy and excited!

Grace got her canape (tent bed), you can see she loved it!

After we ate breakfast, got ready, and rode the bikes, Nancy, Penn, Vance, Teisha, Laura, and Kaden all stopped by and played till it was time to go and talk to Luke!
He didnt call till later than we expected so we opened presents, played the xbox, ate, and waited!
It was good to hear his voice and it is even better to know that next Christmas he will be there with us, I think all of us are ready for him to be home!

We had a great Christmas and although i love everything about Christmas, I am so happy to have the decorations down!

On Christmas Eve Kyle had to go outside and we had a bag on our door step full of crocheted baby carriers, baby dresses, blankets, headbands, all from Santa! So if "Santa" happens to read this blog, Thank you and the girls love there baby dolls and have played with them everyday! 

Christmas Eve

After playing in the snow, we went down to hang out with Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt.

Nancy made some really great chicken pot pie for dinner and then we played the kinect and just talked and had fun.

The girls really like Teisha and they made her play the kinect with them, read to them, and be next to them! 

When we got home we opened a present, pajamas!!!! 

The girls all got into there new PJs and then wanted to go to bed. Grace was just shaking she was so excited, no really her legs would not stop moving!
Before she went to bed we looked up where Santa was, he was in Columbia. I told her that it wasnt to far away so she ran to bed. A few minutes later she comes running out and says " you two need to go to sleep NOW so that Santa will stop."

After the girls were asleep Kyle brought out my presents and I found his, then we had a early Christmas! After 3 years of asking for a trash can, I got a beautiful stainless steal one! Kyle got a binocular tripod thing a bobber!
Santa had came and gone by 9:30, by far my most favorite thing about Christmas!

Snow!

Christmas eve's eve we made reindeer food! We have been sick for, forever pretty much, and so I didnt make treats this year, we did peeps smores and reindeer food!
The girls had alot of fun, and made quite a huge mess, why do all the fun things cause such huge messes!?

Grace said that since it was Rens last day here at our house, he needed to play a good trick on them! 

With the help of Grandpa Penn, Ren brought a pile of snow to our front yard! 

Grace was looking around for Ren and she seen that he took the stockings and put underwear up in their place, that got a good laugh.

Then we sat down for some breakfast and the girls looked out the window to see if Kyle was home, (he got called out at 4:30am, not fun!) But instead of Kyle they seen a big pile of snow.

Addison seen it first and she kinda just looked at it then said "Grace, there is snow outside!" Then she said it again and again till both Grace and Alaynna were screaming with her!

All the family came over to enjoy the snow with us in the morning.

None of us girls showered and we all looked beautiful!

We had fun throwing snow at each other and watching the girls laugh and play.

After we were all cold and had had enough of the snow for a minute, everyone left and we went inside to finish getting ready. 

The girls were just bouncing off the walls all day, mostly Grace! 

I did finally get the twins to lay down for a nap, Kyle also laid down since he had been out working all morning, so Grace and I went for a little ride cause she doesnt know how to be quiet! 

After our ride and the naps, we went back outside to play in the snow cause it was a little warmer outside! 

Kyle and the girls built a snowman! 

The girls had different ideas about how the snowman should look, but they got it done! 

He wasnt complete without a hat and scarf, as you can see Grace really thought it was cool!

After we built frosty, we had to get ready to go down to grandma and grandpas house for dinner! 

But before we left Kyle thought we should get a picture of us with frosty.

So if i would have been more on the ball this might have been the picture you would have got in a Christmas card, oh well maybe next year!

Ginger bread house

Ren brought a Ginger bread house and the day he brought it till the day I let Grace make it she asked at least 3 times a day to get it out and make it! I finally gave in and made Kyle help them build it while i took pictures!
They all had alot of fun and ate more candy than they put on, but it was fun to watch and they had fun, and best of all i havent had to hear about making it 50 times a day!
