catch up, yes agian.

I've been blog slacking, again.
Im still just not in my element here without a home of my own.
Some days are better than others, some days are not to great!
But when it all comes down to it i remember all the good that is in my life and then eat a huge blue symphony bar and i can go on another day!

I feel like i have been non stop going since our little trip to kanab. We got home and Kyle left to go hunting for a week and I went shopping with my mom, and then shopping again with Teisha, Nancy and Laura, I have developed a shop-o-holic problem, paypal is the bomb diginty, internet shopping is freaking w o n d e r f u l!!!

My mom was here for a week and I got to have a sleep over with her and it was so great to get to spend a little time with her before she left to Canada again! I took her into the airport and cried my lashes off, but also the new set up at the airport is awesome!

I have an essential oil problem, so much so that I really hate taking pills of any kind and I am convinced that the antibiotic I am on now is poisoning me.
For real, I use my oils for everything, I hate the doctor and seeing is how every time you go, you seem to come back with another problem, I am all about the oils and taking control over my health!
Kyle calls it black magic, but I think he is slowly seeing the oily ways!
Anyone who hasnt gave them a honest try, should, they will change your life!!

Also when/if the the aliens come down on the 21st of December, I will be prepared for no doctors!!

I think all of this change in our lives has made this control freak go crazy, (see above about aliens).

The girls are getting so big, I just really want to slow down time and make them stay this little forever.
Grace loves school, she loves her friends, she loves to learn, and she loves art!
The twins are home all day with me and they play so good together, I told Kyle that having twins is finally paying off, they are so much fun.
They are also monsters and are going to make me grey way sooner than my time!

Luke is home from his mission!
Now we just have to get him married, but we all decided that the family gets to go out with "her" before Luke!
Poor future girlfriend of Lukes has 3 sister-in-laws that think they need a say in who he marries! We already have a list of requirements and I occasionally just yell them out to Luke as I think of them!!
I think he has swore off girls for awhile, at least till he buys himself a truck and a few guns!
But no worries we all are still looking for a lucky lady for Luke!

Christmas is coming so fast, I have a good dent in my shopping, but it seems every year I am never fully prepared for it!
I hope this year I can try and teach the girls about the true meaning of Christmas.
It has always bothered me how it isnt really about Jesus anymore, it is more about the gifts.

We are all good here, everything s just fine, I am excited for the new year and to see what changes come!
I guess that is if the aliens dont beam me up with them, oils in hand!!

P.S.
I got a reflective disc, I love how it makes pictures look! Grace was being my model so i could use it and she said it was to bright so I gave her my sunglasses!
Can you see the difference!?

Thankgiving

This year was the Leavitt year for Thanksgiving, so we went down to Grandma and Grandpa Leavitts house!

I learned early on in our marriage that every other year for Thanksgiving was what works for us, that way when someone asks us what we are doing I know. It seems only far that we should switch off, So if you are newly married and read this, it is a nice less stressful way of doing things!

I didnt bring anything to dinner which was  weird and different for me. Dinner was delicious and since I have no gallbladder, I didnt over indulge to much cause I knew I would pay for it later!
I have to say that the ham and potatoes were wonderful, I'd love a big plate of them now!

Alot of family was there and I love to see all of the Leavitt clan!

The kids ran and ran, Cindy and Mikes kids are the best babysitters ever!!

I talked oils and had a few aunts who I have converted into the oil magic, a few others I will have to try harder to convince!

We ate, talked, laughed, and had a really great day!!!

Anniversary trip/ Luke coming home!

We try and go somewhere overnight every year for our anniversary! This year We didnt know where to go or what we were going to do.

Since we had so much fun on my hunt last year, we, (kinda kyle more than me!) decided to go to Kanab again.

We didnt have a babysitter so the girls came along with us. It wasnt my thought of an anniversary get away, but we did have a fun family vacation!

We left Sunday and did some shopping and lunch in St. George. We had the truck and were dragging the 4-runner so it was quit the convoy!

We stuffed the 4-runner with everything, the bags, pillows, food, backpacks, everything! I also pack everything wintery that we own!! I knew it was going to be cold, and I wasnt wrong!

We got to our hotel, unhitched the 4-runner and then went out for a little drive! Anywhere you go down there, you see deer. We rode out by the scary best friends animal sanctuary and seen a really cool deer that let me get pretty close to him, I think they know that you cant shoot them on that side of the rode!

Since it was dark and we couldnt see anymore animals we went back to get dinner, Pizza Hut!

After our dinner we told the girls we would go swimming, as we got into the swimming pool we soon realized that the pool was not heated!
Kyle was nice and still swam with them, but i just watched from the hot tube!

Monday morning was out big 7 year anniversary, Kyle went for a ride looking for deer and I got the girls ready and went down for our continental breakfast!

The girls found it really cool that we got to ride the elevator down to eat breakfast and they got to choose what they had for breakfast, I guess we should get out a little more than we do if they think that is cool!

After breakfast we went out to the Kiabab. It was a little of a drive, but on our way we got to play in the snow, the girls thought that was really fun. I forgot to put socks on them so we played for a minute then had to get in the 4-runner to warm up!

We rode out to where you could see the grand canyon and had a little picnic. A squirrel was watching us from the bush and the girls thought that they could catch it.

They made a little pile of Cheetos, sat up their chairs to watch and finished their lunch. The squirrel never came back but I am sure the Cheetos fed a family of 15 after we left!

The girls really like the grand canyon, They kept asking if every mountain was the grand canyon!  It was a long drive back but on our way we found a lookout fire tower. Kyle and Grace climbed to the top, I tried but after a few steps up i looked down and decided that I better stay with the sleeping twins!

Since it gets dark so early we decided in stead of going back and sitting i the hotel we would go out for a short drive. We seen some more deer and the girls really wanted Kyle to shoot them, since we didnt have a tag we told them to just shoot with their fingers, Now they shoot everything! I have tom boys!

We decided that since the girls were all a little sick and didnt sleep at all the night before, we would get wendy's for dinner and some medicine and just go back to the hotel for a early bed time!

After drugging the girls, they fell asleep! We did sleep better but I still didnt sleep great!

Kyle woke up early and went to look for deer again, the girls and I just got up took our time getting ready and then went back down to the coolest breakfast ever!

After Kyle got back we packed up all of our stuff and went out to this cave thing to run around before we left.

The girls ran, got dirty, and Kyle and I sat there tiredly watching them chase each other with sticks, dont worry we would yell to them, "hey you are going to hurt someone", or "you are going to poke someones eye out", or "you are going to hurt yourself". No one listened till Alaynna tripped and hurt herself!

We loaded up the girls, went back to load the 4-runner, and clean up a little, then we were off to St. George to shop for the day and then pick up Luke from the airport!

We shopped and looked at everything we could to waste the day till Luke came in.
Since all of us were a little excited for Luke to get home, all of us Leavitts met at Cracker Barrel for dinner.
After we had all sat down and ordered drinks, Nancy did a flight checker and Luke was already landing, like a hour earlier that we had planned.
So after some confusion, speeding and running a red light we got to the air port and picked up Luke!

The girls were pretty excited to get him home to, they had talked all week about how they were going to run to him and yell Luke, but then when we seen him they all just hid behind kyle and I!

After getting Luke in the car, we all met back at cracker barrel and had dinner!

We had alot of fun on our family trip and we could be more happy to have Luke home, 2 years is a long time!!

Leavitt family reunion!

We had a great Leavitt family reunion! Alot of people showed up, we ate, talked and had a great time!

There was about 70 people there and I took my camera down to get a big family picture! Good thing Tara was there to direct the traffic cause there was alot of us!

We got this wonderful one and then realized that Ty and Annie were missing so after getting them up there we got one more!

It took 50+ pictures, but with this many people I think it turned out really great!

We had so much fun seeing everyone, talking. and watching the kids play. It could have been just a little warmer, but i guess since it is November we cant expect 70* forever!
