I'm leaving on a jet plane.......

When Jerrica said she was going to have a reception in Pittsburgh I knew I had to go, and I knew I would have to take a plane to get there, and that terrified me. So.....

After being in Marysvale for 2 weeks, then catching up with laundry and other house stuff, then packing, My mom and I were off on a red eye, my first plane ride since 7th grade.

I did have a few major panic attacks, the first one while driving in, threw the tunnel to the air port, (i dont like tunnels)  I think my mom also had one cause she thought we were going to crash! We got there plenty early, checked our bags, and then went to our gate to wait. I was to nervous to read or eat, or do anything but look for suspicious bags left alone, suspicious looking people, and thinking of a game plane IF something were to happen on the plane. I really wanted to bring my tripod as a carry on just in case we got hijacked we could hit the person over the head with it and then re take over the plane,  (do you think I have some problems??) But everyone I told said I was crazy and to just take a Valium!

So after getting on the plane, locating the closest exit, going over all safety precautions, and having another panic attack, we started to take off, and oh my holy shit good golly I cried and thought i was going to die cause I couldnt breath, but you can only have a panic attack for so long before you just have to realize your very high in the sky and if somethings going to happen, it is kinda out of your hands.

Sleeping on a plane is pretty much impossible, so i took this time have a nice long chat with God and look at the clouds below and the lights so very far away. We got to Detroit and had a short layover then back on to a plane, the 2nd ride was not to bad and it was only about 45 minutes! Then we were there, on the other side of the country! My dad was not to far behind us so Joey and Jerrica picked us all up and off to Joeys moms home we went!!!

After meeting Tonia (Joeys Mom), Rikki Jo, Meagan (sisters), and Luke (Brother) and my mom taking a nap, We were off to decorate. I was pretty worthless cause I was SO tired after our red eye so I just watched! People were decorating, Joey was being groomzilla, there were people making food in the kitchen, everyone was just busy busy, except me, my mom, and dad!

They shipped Jerricas dress, the cake, and a few other things that needed to get there friday afternoon and luckily they did just in time! Joey was there to get the box that had fragile and this side up, stamped on it, but it was the wrong side down and the cake had a few minor breaks, but nothing that was unfixable! 

After lots of decorating, laughing, talking and getting to know Jerricas new family, My dad and I were off to our hotel  motel room! I should have taken  picture, we shared a double bed, but really once we hit the bed neither of us moved! After 12 full hours of sleep, we woke up and went for a little walk to see the sights around! Mostly there was trees, lots and  lots of green trees!!!

We got back to the place and finished up a few things before we went to get ready!

Since the only one of us that can curl hair is Jerrica, the bride, we made an assembly line. I did help a little bit, but burned my fingers so bad that my hand was kinda useless. After a few hours and 4 womens hair and makeup and 2 little girls hair, we were all off to get our dresses on and pictures taken!

The photographer got some really cute pictures of Jerrica while getting her dress on, she looked just as pretty as the weekend before, I guess it helps that she is just a really pretty girl!

The dads were late to get dressed and late to get pictures done, so we were all melting in the humidity, but we got it done and got a few good pictures too. Since Jakell couldnt make it back, next time Jerrica comes to my house we are going to do some Photoshopping and make Jakell "be there" with us!

When everyone started to show up for dinner, I of course didnt know anyone, but everyone back there made me, my mom, and my dad all feel really welcomed, I really was so impressed at how nice everyone was. I even got told I looked 17, and well thats about the best compliment I have gotten in years!!!

This is my absolutely most favorite picture of the whole two weddings, I think there faces are priceless, I for real might print this off and put it on my wall!!!!

I had so much fun getting to know Jerricas new family, watching everyone dance, (even the grandmas (till she fell)), eating the best stuffed peppers and baked beans I have ever tasted and getting to spend some time with Khole!

My dad and I had a fight out at 4 in the morning so we decided that we better get back to the house and try and sleep for a few hours. After a few mishaps, losing my phone charger, loud thunder, and just being worried about missing our flight, we were up and getting ready to go to the airport. We all decided the best thing to do would to have us take a car and leave it at the airport then no one would have to get up to take us. The only bad thing about that is that we had NO IDEA where to go. But have no fear, my phone has navigation. So after a few dirt roads, 1 one lane bridge, and 24 minutes of thinking we were lost and going to get ate up by some hillbilly's, we made it to the airport!!!!

We did get delayed about a half hour because of rain, but both my dad and I made our other flights. From Minneapolis to Vegas was bumpy and a full flight. I decided I get more car sick when I can see the ground. But going home I was to tired to have a full on panic attack and I just think I knew I was coming home and a plane was the only thing that was going to get me back!! The girls were so happy to see me and I was so happy I got a little break from them but I was even happier to see all there dirty little faces!!!!
 

Jerrica and Joeys Wedding

The whole reason why I was in Marysvale for 2 weeks was Jerricas big day! Jerrica planned and planned and made things and worked her behind off for about a year for this 1 day!

 I listened to her cry and stress for about a year!

After working our tails off for the hours before, It all came together and turned out great!

Sherri and McKell helped so much and Terrie and my mom helped by keeping all the kids away!

She did a potato bar for dinner, a smores bar for dessert, and a trail mix bar for her "thank you" favors!  

Her colors were yellow and grey! 

 Her dress was beautiful!

It was so nice to see all the family that came to support Joey and Jerrica.

We had fun eating, dancing, and talking. The kids had fun running around and playing on the playground! 

Everything turned out really great and I think that we are all happy to have it over!

I think Jerrica and Joey have a pretty cute little family!!!!

Jerricas Bridal Shower

Jakell and I decided that we needed to throw Jerrica a little bridal shower while we were all in Marysvale.

I was in charge of food, games, and inviting people, Jakell was in charge of getting "something blue" things, and my mom was in charge of giving all the jobs she was in charge of to Jakell and I!

After we had got all of the food done, we went down to the park to decorate for the wedding and to have Jerricas shower!

Khole and the girls really liked that everything was chocolate and so they ate alot and got even more all over themselves!

There was alot of family that came and it was nice to see everyone and get to have them there to help Jerrica celebrate getting married!
 

This pasta came from Sherri and oh my word, click on it and make it bigger, it will make you blush!!!

She also got some olive oil that was good for food or a massage!

And some cute panties!

I didnt think we could make Jerrica blush, but Jakell found a few things that did the trick!

Russell came down to make drinks and well Russ is always fun to have around!!!

After we were all done we put Joey to work on getting a few things done for the big day, We had alot of fun watching Jerrica open up her gifts and just hanging out with everyone!

The 2nd week of Marysvale

After Fish Lake and a few loads of laundry Kyle had to leave us to go back to work while we played in Marysvale and got ready for Jerricas wedding.

The twins dont take good naps when we are away from home, unless we go for a ride, so on Tuesday we went for a ride to go find somewhere cute to take a few pictures of Grace.

Grace picked out this spot and it was right next to some huge power poles, as we were riding past them she asked, "Do you think we could take some pictures of Jerrica in her wedding dress up in those lines?"  I said "No they are to high!" so she says, "What if we put Jerrica on Joeys shoulders?" I just laughed and said, "no, they are still to high!" so Grace came up with one last plan, "Rily's pretty tall, how about we put him on Joeys shoulders and then Jerrica on his shoulders?" I guess she really wanted a picture of Jerrica on some power lines!

We didnt do a whole lot for the rest of the week other than getting mason jars together and tables for the wedding, that is till Jakell showed up a few days early!

Jakell luckily did not bring her ferret, but she did bring her puppy. (YES, my crazy sister has a 2, (almost 3) year old little monster, a ferret, a husband, a puppy, and is pregnant! can you say, CRAZY, but i still love her) Alaynna and this puppy were so in love, ok well Alaynna really liked this dog, the dog really liked to hide so she didnt get mauled, picked up by the leg, or threw around.

Other than chase the dog around, eat, and watch kids run, we just didnt do alot but talk and laugh! I sure do miss my sisters, i wish they live closer to me.

Since it was nice and warm we decided to get the slip and slide out and let the kids go. My girls were all dressed having fun.....

Trueitt on the other hand was naked as a jay bird running around, so I dont have to many pictures of him! But i did sneak in a picture of my beautiful baby sister and her baby belly! 

The kids had so much fun playing together and I had so much fun cause Jakell was there to help me with the kids. We had to get ready for Jerrica bridal shower so Jakell, me and the twins went to Richfield to grab a few things, but a few thing turned into both of us having a kid and a whole cart full of crap!!! But without Jakell there to help me I would have had 2 kids and 2 carts and I probably would have had a bad breakdown and left the kids and carts in the middle of walmart!  

It was nice being in Marysvale, especially when it would rain in the  middle of the day and cool things off, I was busy the whole time so my time there went by very fast!
