Life is hard some days.....

Sometimes life gets hard,
Stuff doesn't go the way you thought it would,
You aren't where you thought you'd be at this age,
You realize that bad things happen to good people,
You realize the world isn't a nice happy place,
You get overwhelmed at the thought of all the expectations people hold over you,
You listen to all that negativity that is everywhere, and worst you start to believe it.

With all this "bad" it make seeing the good hard some days.
I am lucky to have my 3 happy, healthy girls to remind me of the "good" in the world.

I also have Jerrica that I look to when I am having a bad day.
I have said it before and I will say it again, she is amazing.
In the last few months she has been showed such kindness by strangers, it has kinda restored my hope in the world, make me less scared to send my children out there.

A "stranger" at Disneyland asked if she could take some pictures of Jerr and her family with the characters, not to mention on that same trip how great Disneyland was to her family and arranged them to meet some characters.
Later the same "stranger" took family pictures for Jerrica, something she wanted so bad to do for the last year, but hasn't been able to.
Then while we were trick or treating in Disneyland a "stranger" came up to Jerrica and asked to say a prayer over Owen. It brought tears to my eyes and still does.
Lastly a fund has been started for the Revays, http://www.gofundme.com/therevayfamily, It has been really great to see it spread all over facebook and see so many people care.
If you haven't already, go check it out and read the great blog post that the "Stranger" who took Jerr and Joeys pictures put on her blog. http://2bepositive.com/?p=2595

So hopefully today my bad attitude can change, cause there are good people out there and people who are amazing and inspiring!

8 years together!

On 11/12/13 Kyle and I celebrated 8 years of being married!

3 kids
4 moves,
16+ cats,
1 fat,old, dog,
lots of laughs,
Some crying,
Some yelling,
Lots of fun trips,
and Lots of happiness,
in this last 8 years!

It feels like yesterday and forever ago at the same time! I defiantly don't think I could have found someone who fits me more perfectly than Kyle or that would put up with me! He drives me crazy, make me want to smother him in his sleep, makes me laugh so hard I cry, makes me feel comfortable and confident, and gave me 3 beautiful girls, I guess I will keep him around for at least 8 more years!

With only being married 8 years , I don't think that's enough time to give advise, maybe when you hit 25 years of marriage then you can give advise, I have learned/think a few things...

* Who ever said Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, knew what they were talking about! Men and Woman could not be more different!

* Facebook statues that say how much they love their husband, I feel like they have to put it on there to tell themselves how much they love them. They probably woke up contemplating on if they could bury the body.

* Marriage is not a fairy tale, its not easy, and its alot of work. If you think different, one day you are going to be hit with a ton of bricks and have a "holy shit" moment!

* If your having a hard time in your marriage and think that bringing another human being into the world will help you, you are crazy! Kids make stuff alot harder, they are wonderful, but make life harder.

* It takes 2 to make a marriage great and it takes 2 to make it bad.

* Marriage is all about compromising and you can't just do what you want and think about what you need, it just doesn't work when you do.

* Sometimes it is best to just bite your tongue when your husband makes the bed, does the dishes, sweeps, "right" and just think to yourself "at least he is helping, at least he is helping, at least he is helping!"

* Sometimes the best way to solve a fight, is to just go to the bedroom!

Veterans Day

Last Sunday we had a Leavitt family reunion! They had a bounce house, and the girls got in as soon as we got there and really didn't get out till we left! They had alot of fun, and it is always great to visit with everyone!

The next day was Veterans Day, and  here in the Valley, they do a parade! The girls love parades, I do not!

But we go every year anyways! We met Great Grandma and Grandpa Leavitt there and Grandma Joyce helped the girls fill their bags full of candy!

We had a fun day, Kyle and the girls took a ride out by the river to set his trail camera up and I sat here in the quiet for awhile, it was nice!

Halloween

I like Halloween, I always have and probably always will!
I love thinking of cute things to dress the girls like and 3 of the 5 Twins Halloweens I have made them really cute things, Cat in the Hat with Thing 1 and Thing 2, Cruella Deville and 2 dalmatians, and this year the Mad Hatter and Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum!

Grace was pretty excited to be the Mad Hatter, and I thought she turned out so cute!!
Grace had a fun school party that me and the twins went and crashed!
I was in charge of bringing a pumpkin cake!

The kids thought it was cool, and it was alot of fun to make!

We had mummy dogs for dinner, that no one ate, so really we all had candy for dinner!

I love this picture of the girls! I told them to strike a pose, Grace is crazy and Addsion and Alaynna did the same thing and i didn't notice till I loaded the pictures.

We trick-or-treated, got to much candy, and had so much fun!
We had a really good day, and hopefully next year i can think if something good for the girls to be!

Pomegranate and Family Tree!

It is pomegranate picking season! We thought we would have a whole bunch, but we didn't this year.

We only ended up with one box of good eating ones, the rest were ugly and split opened, hopefully we get them juiced soon!

Grace had a family tree project she had to do in school, it was alot of work for me!!!
We got an idea to make a flower garden instead of the traditional tree. After that we had alot of creative differences! But in the end it turned out really cute and she was very proud of it!

Pumpkin Carving!

Carving pumpkins isn't I or Kyle favorite thing to do, but the girls love it!

I helped the girls draw on faces and Kyle cut them out as best as he could!

When it come to digging out the guts, no one liked that at all! So me and Kyle dug them out till we got sick of it!

They all 3 were really happy with their cute pumpkin faces and couldn't wait to get a candle in them!

The pumpkins didn't last to much longer after Halloween night and the twins thought they would help Kyle by smashing them flat and squishing them into the sidewalk!

They didn't have that much fun cleaning up the pumpkins that they had smashed tho!
