Gold Butte

Our friend, Dustin Nelson, put together a trash clean up and lunch out at Gold Butte. So we rode out to support him and to get out of the house!

The girls loved running around and it was kinda warm! Really warm considering it is December!

They had some hotdogs and hamburgers for lunch and the girls mostly just ate cheese, they have decided to not eat lately.

They also had fun playing with rocks in the wash.

They decided that this would be a perfect spot for a picture and it took awhile to get them so i could see all 3 of them, Alaynna kept sitting in front of Addison and Grace thought that standing would look best! But for 3 monsters I think this one looks pretty good!

We had fun out there, I dont find the "mountains" around here near as ugly as I use to, I think it is because it is December and we can still go outside and not freeze to death.

That morning we found Ren in the tree with toilet paper! Actually Grace was running around the house like a crazy person and woke us up and then I found Ren in the tree. She thought it was pretty funny. But after looking at the tree for while she asked why the toilet paper at the top of the tree didnt look as good as the bottom. (haha)

horrible 3's

The twins are at a rough age.
They always say the terrible 2's, but i learned with Grace the 3's are way worst.
The twins seem to have hit the horrible 3's early.
Alaynna, the other morning, was being way to quiet. So when she came out with the whole jar of pom aid on her head i wasnt surprised.
Things like this happen alot around this house lately, I feel at my wits end, alot.

This year I had enough presents to start my advent box on the right day, but i didnt have my decorations up, so we started late. (better late than never, like last year!)

I was worried about how to do the twins, cause they dont take turns, not even a little. So the first day Grace got to open her ornament, the 2nd day the twins fought and fought over who got to open the present, so I caved and they both opened one.

I thought these little elf angels were pretty cute, but they are also very fragile.
I already had to super glue a arm back on.

The elf Ren hasnt been playing to many tricks, I think he forgets he has to hide or play a trick till it is way past bed time and all the good shows are over. HA

All Rens tricks come from pinterest. Isnt that website a wonderful waste of time?

We have also been potty training, kinda. I havent had to change a dirty diaper from Addison in probably 6 months, but she has belly issues. Both the girls do really good when they run around the house naked, but i havent been all gun-hoe about it. I learned with Grace, they do it when they are ready. I just hope ready come super soon, maybe when santa brings them pantys.

Not alot is going on at this house, we all seem to have a little bit of a cold, but the pukes are out of the house, for awhile, so i am not going to complain!

I am making a wedding cake this week, not just any wedding cake, Vance and Teisha's wedding cake! So I wont be leaving my home and there will probably be lots of frozen pizzas this week for dinner.

Ren and the cats

We have a elf in our home, I mentioned him in my last post, his name is Ren and he hide in new places every morning and he plays tricks on the girls. I think he came to the house to early, cause he is running out of places to hide!

One morning the girls woke up with there noses painted red! That one got a really good laugh!

He drew all over our pictures through the house, Grace really liked that trick!

He left a Ginger bread house for the girls to make, and I wish he would have saved that for later in the month cause Grace has not stopped asking to make it.

One morning we could not find him anywhere till we got in the fridge and he had been in there eating the cool whip!

When Grace woke up the other morning she found him zip lining from the fan to the curtains, the twins liked that one the best!

And today he used his magic to make the milk green, Grace had a very hard time drinking the milk so I am glad he didnt do the full gallon!

For awhile now we have been talking about getting some cats, so we decided that we would go to the shelter and adopt them.

I had to go to the DMV so I decided that I would go see what they had.
That was a bad idea.
If I didnt think Kyle would have kicked me out I probably would have brought a few more cats a a few dogs too!
The 2 cats that I got I loved!
The older one, (all black), We named Seymore. Grace really wanted him names, alala.
The other one we named Tux, for obvious reasons, Grace wanted to name him abebe.
So far we love them, but it has only been a few days, things could change fast, as anyone who has read my blog for awhile knows we are not all that great with cats at this home!

Last year I was the Grinch, this year I am not as bad as I was last year, But I still have some Grinchy moments!

We started decorating yesterday and we finished the tree today.
The girls decorated the tree pretty much all by themselves, they were pretty proud of it. It looks pretty good, I figured that the balls will be taken off and redone about a million times before Christmas so I wasnt to particular where things went!

All caught up!

I am almost all updated!
Since I was hunting for a month I got out of the habit of updating and hope to stay good with this from now on!
And since my children are all throwing up I thought today was a perfect day to get caught up!

My garden is growing wonderfully, peas, carrots, radishes, spinach, I love that it is winter and i still have a garden, the winter vegetables are my favorite ones anyways, no canning!!

On the 12th of November Kyle and I had been married for 6 years! I kinda like him and think I am pretty lucky to have picked him!

We have a visitor at our home, His name is Ren and he is a pain in my butt, (haha).  He hides in a new place every night and sometimes even plays tricks on us! I will do a whole post about where he has been and what hes done another day! The girls LOVE him and every morning they all run around looking for him then when they find him they scream!

50, yes, 50 years

The biggest reason we went to Marysvale was because my Grandma and Grandpa have been married for 50 years this year and "the sisters" were throwing a party for them!

They asked me to make a cake, and it was a little harder not being home trying to bake in a new oven that is gas and at a different elevation, but i got it done!

I wouldnt have been able to get all of it done without Jerrica, I am sure glad she was there to be my assistant!

We went to the school early Saturday morning and Sherrie, Mom, and Terrie were already there decorating!

We got to work on finishing the cake and the cupcakes, this was my first attempt at them and i think they turned out pretty good!

Shortly after, Shelly and her family came and started to cook!

Everybody was busy getting ready for the party the whole day, it was fun to see everyone working together and laughing!

When Grandma and Grandpa got there, we ate some yummy food that shelly and family made.

Then for some reason, Kyle and I, with my grandma and grandpa, and rex and ginger played the newlywed game and well we all kinda sucked!

The girls had so much fun running around with all of the other kids!

After the not so newlywed game, Sherrie made a DVD of pictures through the years and it really turned out good! We defiantly learned Terrie had some bad hair days along the years, haha!

After the DVD lots of people from around town came by!

It was really great to see people who had been in my life growing up. All of Grandma and Grandpas "old people" friends that have been around watching us grow up were there and most of them thought I was my mother!

In fact I had a very nice conversation with one of them about my new boyfriend and living in Canada! But through the years I have learned to smile and nod polity and just pretend that I am Merri!

Some of the best time of my childhood were spent with the Poulsons kids, growing up when they would come down we played till we couldnt play anymore! Now they are all grown up and instead of playing, we just laugh at how crazy our mothers are!

I am glad the "the sisters" planed something for Grandma and Grandpa cause 50 years is a long time and these days there is not to many people that can say they have been married for 50 years! I feel lucky to say that both sets of my grandparents have made it 50+ years, and thats a long time to spend annoying someone!

At the end of the night we tried to get a picture of all the great grand kids, but Jakell had left and all the kids just wanted to play so it didnt turn out all that great. I will need to work on this one in elements and try to make it better, but i had to put it up cause my blog is about updated! YEA!

It was so nice to see everyone we got to see all weekend! That is my favorite part of the holidays!
